It's exactly what I did recently when I spent several hours with friends at the Annex Food Hall. It's between Spadina and Bathurst stations on Bloor St. West. I drove down, followed the parking sign, and found this Impark. This parking lot is behind Spadina subway station. There was a car waiting to pick up someone at the station. It was a bit annoying having someone wait there, as I was trying to get to the lot and he was blocking my way. This lot is underground. There were plenty of spots. I backed into one. They can be fairly tight if you own a large vehicle. Luckily, I don't. The procedure is that you park, purchase your ticket, and place it on your car's dashboard. You basically touch the screen, enter your licence plate number, pay, and take your ticket. I used a credit card. You insert it and then take it out. The instructions didn't prompt me to take it out of the slot. I am that type of a user. If I can't figure it out, the instructions need help! I went with the weekend flat rate. It's $7 if you get to this lot from 6 pm and leave before 6 am the following day. Considering that I was in the area for roughly five hours, the flat rate is pretty good. There is a warning sign on the wall indicating to take your valuables and lock your car. It sounded a bit ominous, but it should be common practice to take your diamond necklace and Chanel purse with you when you leave your parked car. Leaving the lot at around 11:20 pm was a challenge. There wasn't a clear exit sign. I felt like I was doing donuts around the floor that I was on. I finally found the exit and got out, as if I were a mouse in a simplistic maze. Other than the poor exit sign issue, I'd park here again. I felt safe (there's an exit staircase that gets you to Warner Avenue, behind Spadina station) while hanging out at the Annex. I could have used the Green P street parking on the north side of Queen Street East, in front of Moss Park Armoury. What caught my attention was this parking lot on the southwest corner of Jarvis and Queen. I chose to park here and see how I felt. Canada Wide Parking owns this parking lot. It's in a plaza with a cannabis store and what looked like an old mechanic place. A radio broadcast was being blasted from the cannabis store, which did not feel like a relaxing place to go in and select your weed strain. You could risk it by parking for free in front of said cannabis store. I don't know how often they check that you are indeed a customer with the two parking spots off to the side of this store. I parked closer to the payment machine. I then went to check out the prices. It's $5 for thirty minutes. Your best bet is parking on evenings and weekends. It's a flat rate of $8 that starts at either 5 or 6 pm, depending on the day. The end time also depends on the day, but it's pretty good. I stayed in Creamery X for probably a good ten minutes and then ate my ice cream in my car, so I maximized my $5 stay before I left. As a person who enjoys going to concerts, but doesn't do it as much as I used to, I'm always looking for good parking lots close to venues. This lot isn't all that far away from Massey Hall. Perhaps it's a six-minute walk over. It's not bad at all. I felt safe parking in this lot. It's nicely maintained. The payment machine accepts credit cards and coins. I used a credit card and got a receipt of my transaction. You are asked to enter your car's licence plate, so you can't be a good-hearted person by handing your non-expired ticket to someone else. My plan was to park in front of the place on Yonge Street and pay for parking through the Green P app. I got there at around 5:35 pm. The last time I was here, it was well past rush hour. This time, I was in a period where you can't park on the street from 4 pm till 6 pm. I saw a public parking sign. I followed it around the 5200 Yonge Street building that features Lucullus. There was public parking in the underground lot, which is shared with tenant parking. Cool! I remember seeing a rate of $8.85. I wasn't sure if I'd truly need to pay that much. I went downstairs to look for a spot. The public parking spots are closest to the wall. There are signs that clearly state that they are public. They also let you know where the payment machines are. Luckily, I parked fairly close to a payment machine, so I headed over to it after having backed into a spot. There was plenty of public parking. You do need to enter your licence plate number. The payment process was straightforward. I entered my licence plate and it automatically said that I'd be paying for parking till 6 am. You can't pay by hour. I had a flat rate of $5, which wasn't bad. I ended up staying here for an hour. I got hungry and ate in my car before heading home. The machine only accepts cash, coins, and credit cards. If you do pay with bills, you don't get any change back. I paid with a credit card. I got my ticket and placed it on my car's dashboard. Signage was excellent here. I had no problem finding my way in and out of this underground parking lot. I also found the elevators easily and took it up to the main floor to get access to both the food hall and Lucullus. It's a decent lot, especially when the weather is horrible and you don't feel like brushing the snow off it in the winter. It's super clean. There are major heating fans downstairs. They are loud when they start up, which caught me by surprise. I was good when my heart stopped racing from being so startled by the noise. I'd park here again when I want to stay longer or I end up coming here when I can't park on the street during rush hour. (379)

Naturally, I was heading to an eatery and arrived just past 5 pm. I needed to find a parking lot. I found this Green P parking lot on Delisle Avenue, which runs parallel to and is north of St. Clair Avenue West. Perfect! I pulled into the lot and landed a spot across from the ticket kiosk, steps away from the street. I backed into the spot. There was enough room for me to get out of my car. Some parking spots are super tight between them. It was decent here. I have the Green P app on my phone. I paid for parking through it. The lot code number is 13. I like using this app because if you need more time, you can extend your stay. I managed to do it and got an extra hour. It beats running back to the kiosk to get another ticket. I spent probably a good two hours in this neighbourhood. The flat rates are decent at this parking lot. If I wanted to max out my stay till 7 am on Thursday, the rate would be $6. The maximum rates do differ based on the parking ramp level that you are on Monday through Saturday from 7 am to 6 pm. I was on the ground level, so there wasn't a maximum. However, for the other levels, there are maximums. I was pleased finding this parking lot. My car was safe and sound. I'd return and park here whenever I'm back in this area. (357)
