Went camping on this site for a break,it is a great camping site the facilities are clean and well…read moremaintained,very well organised with security onsite great clean shower facilites, washing and waste disposal also electric hook up,a enclosed dog walking area that was also well kept,everyone was so friendly,ready to help each other out with any problems,the site allows families only, so helps with any boistrous behaviour however we did have some noise from a group of teenagers for about a hour,which although a nuisance i have had more problems staying at some more expensive hotels in spain with this,so was quite happy with my stay and will certainly go camping here again i enjoyed it. Oakfields holiday park, Kinmel bay near Rhyl North Wales, we stayed here for the first time ever…read morethis year and we had a fantastic weeks holiday, we were treated as if we had been going there for years, everything was shown to us nothing was too much trouble and if there was a problem it was sorted within 15 minutes, other neighbours on the camp were very polite and at night it was lovely and quiet, the club was open although we did'nt use it and there is a small entrance fee, during the day there is a cafe and a small amusement arcade if you are staying on the camp

stayed on this site a couple of times and enjoyed my times,it is mainly a caravan site it is clean…read moreand well presented,we stayed in a really lovely caravan all mod cons,most of the people was very friendly the beach is not far but the only thing i did not like was you had to cross a railway via bridge to get to it,you can always walk to the fairground with a much better access,but i would certainly stay here again and am even considering buyig a caravan if ot on this site certainly within the area.

We stayed for a week from Mon 13th to Friday 17th of June. The day we got there, we experienced a…read morepower cut, the whole site went out and we were not given a reason, our caravan was in the back and beyond part of the site, clearly the overflow in BF (beach fields), which is a very long walk up to the club. overall the site was beautiful, quiet and peaceful, a minor walk to the beach and into towyn along the beach path. Our boiler broke overnight leaving us with no hot water the next morning, we asked for someone to come out to fix it and it was done by the time we got back!. the arcade is okay although alot of the machines were faulty and took coins without properly functioning, after telling staff we were re-payed lost coins. The onsite bar was okay although we didn't eat there, sitting inside for a little while we were harassed by flies. The pool was amazing, not huge but good enough, plenty of changing facilities and seats to sit out by the pool and store stuff. The onsite shop is small with only the essentials, but the chip Shop was amazing! huge fish and lovely meal, thoroughly enjoyable. There's plenty of events on for kids, with a special club, events in the main club and a park and basketball court. The park is beautiful covered in flowers and never any litter, the grass is always cut, and there is two big grass fields on the way to beach fields with picnic benches Although some parts lack paths. There's a security patrol and number to call if any trouble occurs. parking is either on road or next to caravan. Overall we enjoyed our experience although due to our faulty timing it absolutely poured down with rain on the last two days! we will definitely be coming back!.

Golden sands holiday park kinmel bay near Rhyl North wales, very well deserves 5 stars I have been…read moregoing to this holiday camp for almost 50 years, although I have seen some major changes to the camp, I cannot find anything at all to lower the star rating, this camp is excellent value for money and if you don't wish to leave the camp at all during the day there is always something going on for the younger ones, at night the club is open till late serving drinks and entertainment for young and old alike, it's a warm welcome whatever the weather even on your entrance and exit days, staff are always on hand in case of problems and the camp itself is very well maintained with the grass kept short and no litter anywhere to be found, the Chip shop is open most of the time even on a Sunday and the camp shop is open all day from 6am to late at night, security patrols on a regular basis 24 hours a day so it's also a safe place for your children to play, they have a mini adventure park for the children and a sports play area for the older ones, there is also Ice cream and drinks for sale on the camp from various points, team games and competitions are held during the summer weeks for those that wish to take part and overall it's well worth the money for a really relaxing comfortable holiday, caravans are well maintained and clean and comfortable, with your beds already made for when you arrive, also drinks satchets are provided for when you arrive so you don't have to go rushing off to the shop straight away for milk and sugar. A great camp with everything going for it, especially since they extended the camp to hold another 40 caravans, this place just gets better and better. parking is on road but next to your caravan wherever it is situated.

We travelled from the midlands which made it a nice and easy short journey, the only thing you need is the weather on your side to make it the perfect weekend break away :) We will definitely be returning here, and if you drive then you can enjoy all that north wales has to offer as well!

(email me to book - WinkupsWales@gmail.com) it has a great clubhouse with nice friendly staff and the entertainment is excellent, really knows how to get the crowd going and she has a brilliant singing voice! the xfactor finalist is also there tonight! The park has everything you need including a big store, amusements with two lane bowling, guitar hero's :-), fish & chip shop, cafe, kids club, park, swimming pool is being built, and if that is not enough just across the road is a fun fair and Tir Prince racecourse which also holds a market 4 days a week which is huge! the beach is over the footbridge and a bus stop to go in either direction depending on what you like..hustle bustle, shops and quaint cafes or cycling,horse riding, windsurfing, clay pigeon, golf, countryside etc it really does have it all!!! it is also a really enjoyable and cheap holiday especially if there are a few of you or going as a family....the funfair is only £55 for the week unlimited use!
