Worst management ever! They are dishonest and two-faced.
I lived here for 2 1/2 years. I had issues from day 1. Ryan was my leasing agent. He promised me laminate flooring, said I could have my gas grill and said utilities wouldn't run me over $40 for gas, elect, and water. I waited an extra few weeks for a lower level apartment to be available because he said that is where I could use my grill.
The day of my move in, after singing lease papers, Julie did my walk through with me. There was old ratty carpet. Seams were showing, there was major wear, the windows were foggy due to the gas seals being broken, meaning they were no longer energy efficient. There was water damage on the seam to the left of my kitchen sink. The dishwasher didn't work well at all. It left a white sand substance on everything.
The utilities were not outrageous but did amount to approx. $200/mo, not the $40 that Ryan said. The carpet was obviously not replaced, and therefore I didn't have laminate flooring as promised. We moved in December 2015. My son's room was so cold I had to purchase a space heater for his room. We had maintenance out there 3 times. Each time they told us that we had opened the window and it wasn't shut properly. However, the issue continued and actually, there was bubbled drywall next to the window from the old, inefficient windows.
I had horribly loud neighbors above me. I complained about them for 2 1/2 years. I believe there were illegal things going on in that apartment, so much so, that I notified Greenfield PD about it and they had the apartment on watch for human trafficking. There were people in an out of there all the time. They threw trash over the balcony, buckets of water onto my patio below. There was nightly pounding and thumping as well as extremely loud television that could be heard at the end of the building if you were outside. The neighbor's toilet upstairs overflowed and I had their pee water flood my bathroom and bedroom. I scrubbed the walls, vanity, flooring, toilet, washed bath mats, all several times to no avail. I could only get maintenance to slap a little primer over the ceiling where it was stained. The bathroom and bedroom (same one from above) smelled of pee.
I had a flooding issue outside my patio. The water was draining and pooling on my patio. They came and dug around the downspout a little. it didn't help much so I bought patio pavers so we could at least walk in our patio door.
The kitchen drawer broke from opening the drawer. The face of it just fell off. once it was off, the back crumbled. It was the nice 30 year old particle board cabinets with laminate overlay.
There were issues, after issues for the 2 1/2 years I was there. Now that I've moved, I am being charged for the carpet that was supposed to have been replaced before I moved in...now they are saying they have record it was and want me to pay damages. They are charging me $400 to re-glaze the countertops in the kitchen and bathrooms, the kitchen cabinet, the blind in the pee bedroom that was bent when we moved in, etc. I was trying to converse back and forth with Missy. She said Julie had to discuss it with me, but she was on vacation. She didn't respond to any of my emails, until I started sending them "Read Receipt". She responded once then sent me to collections.
None of the charges are valid and they are grossly overcharging. The collections company was never sent any of the emails or my letter of dispute to Julie. She omitted the info completely.
I'm so glad I'm out of there! read more
