Mr. Free was hired because of his positive business reviews, competitive pricing and commitment from him he would complete the work even though it will require multiple trips. Regarding the multiple trips we were told we would not have to pay until all the work was completed. To our surprise we received an invoice for his first day's work. We reminded him all payment when all the work was completed. He explained his need for the billing. We agreed to a partial payment after he removed the stumps. The stumps were removed, the partial payment was made. Furthermore we were of help with his billing by introducing him to several neighbors who were in need of tree service. It is now August, trees need to be dropped and Mr. Free will not return our phone calls nor respond to email request. If you plan to employ Jim Free Tree Service do not make the mistake we made. Pay only when all the work is completed.
