As a filmmaker and videographer, Joanes was very meticulous and professional. He took the time to really get to know our program and the space. On the day of filming, he spent the entire day with our program staff and participants, conducting interviews and capturing our classes in action. Afterwards, he must have spent hours editing the video himself and putting the final product together, and the care he took really shows in the final product! He understood exactly what we were looking for and fully executed. He was very flexible as we had to change dates due to covid without any extra charges. The package pricing is also unbeatable - for other photographers we looked into pricing for just wedding photos was the same or more compared to our package with NG Studio which included our engagement shoot, photo and video for the wedding (with Nour another photographer and two videographers + a drone), one full album, two smaller albums for our families, and 3 USB drives. For our engagement shoot, I was able to coordinate with Nour ahead of time to get both photos and video footage of me surprising my husband with his early wedding gift. We loved the engagement session since we were able to get to know Nour better and get more comfortable in front of the camera. He was so helpful by providing us with poses. For our actual wedding, I was nervous about being able to get all 80+ of my relatives in a group photo but Nour's team was able to get the shot! Nour is incredibly accommodating and so friendly. They gave us a link to our full gallery 4 weeks after our wedding. If you're also going with video, I'd recommend selecting or at least considering which ~10 songs you'd like for your video since my husband and I were slow about picking them. I rarely write negative reviews, but after this experience, I feel a responsibility to warn other…read morecouples. MPW was, without question, the most disappointing vendor we worked with for our wedding. Their work reflects complacency and a lack of professionalism that is difficult to comprehend given their reputation. I strongly advise against hiring them for your wedding. On the morning of our wedding, the team rushed every moment, creating unnecessary stress. During the reception, the issues escalated significantly. We paid a substantial amount for a same-day edit, which they repeatedly promised would be ready "in five minutes." This delay continued for over 90 minutes. As a result, the DJ stopped the music multiple times in anticipation of the video entrance, and approximately 90-95% of our 400 guests believed the reception had ended and began leaving. This completely disrupted and ultimately ruined our reception. Several months later, we received the final edited video, which was expected timing-wise. However, the quality was shocking. The video showed severe technical and artistic failures: the camera focused on a guest's armpit during the ceremony, excessive lens flares blocked the screen during our first dance, and extended shots included the photographer's bald spot instead of the couple. Additionally, important screen presentations prepared by my wife's family were entirely missed. When we contacted MPW to express that the video was unacceptable, a team member accidentally replied to our email in Filipino rather than internally. After translating the message, it stated that it was "the worst video he has ever seen" and that "the guy they hired was terrible." This confirmed our concerns about the quality of the work and internal oversight. We requested corrections, after which MPW sent a revised edit. Unfortunately, they only changed the presentation slides (after we provided the files again) and added excessive fade-to-black transitions. It was clear the video had not been fully reviewed. In multiple scenes, their crew can be seen sitting in the background or not paying attention to framing, with people walking through shots--further demonstrating a lack of care and professionalism. I then sent a detailed email with timestamps outlining every issue. Despite this still being the first proper revision, we were repeatedly reminded of their policy that additional edits cost extra. Each revision fixed one issue while introducing another, creating the impression that the process was intentionally prolonged to justify charging for additional edits. After 14 months of ongoing communication, we finally received the completed video. However, the raw footage--part of our agreement--was not included. We had to follow up again before it was finally delivered. At this point, we will need to hire another editor simply to produce a watchable and respectful wedding film. This experience included a rushed wedding morning, unacceptable filming angles, missed key moments, a severely delayed same-day edit that disrupted our reception, and over a year of exhausting back-and-forth. I do not enjoy writing reviews like this, and I am generally very understanding of human error. However, the level of negligence and lack of accountability we experienced was unacceptable. I have done it before with boudoir photographers, but didn't really like any of the resulting pictures because I probably am overly critical of myself, like a lot of women. I modelled when I was much younger, but only parade and never photographic work, except for catalogue, so AWKWARD is the only way I could describe my feelings leading up to the event. I am a bit shy and not a poser, so it wasn't natural for me. Bret is a gentleman and kind of works with what look you are after - even if you do not know how to do it! We met at a very upscale midtown location of my choosing, and he prefers morning light. I have seen other photos he has taken and hoped for the best. During the session, he asks if you like certain shots and shows them to you - if you have no idea how you look, this is good and you are involved in the outcome. But what I can say to you.....always trust your photographer. How you see yourself is not always how others see you and the shot Bret liked the most I was on the fence with. Needless to say, I went with him. Male photographers see a lot of beautiful women and they probably know better than us. You think? I am 100% happy with my ultimate picture and every woman needs to know she looks like that in the end. What an awesome feeling. I will definitely use Bret again.

He also asked a lot of questions about me and my fiancé so that he could get to know us and the style of pictures we wanted, and we were able to come up with a package that was within my budget. Bob was great! My fiancé and I are both really busy so he agreed to meet with us on a Sunday. It was a brutal summer day so my fiancé and I were pretty exhausted after a while but Bob kept asking for more poses/shots, which was great because we had a lot to choose from in the end (thanks !!). Bob was extremely professional, giving us a lot of direction/pointers, and made sure we had time to take shots at our requested locations. Bob is a firm believer that your shots are yours, and a few weeks after the session Bob had created a website with all of our shots and soon after I received a CD in the mail. I've attached a few pictures (low resolution). He was able to capture exactly what we wanted!
