Came here with my girlfriend for a Halloween pumpkin patch and was so pleasantly surprised! This is an actual farm that is family owned and it really gives such an authentic vibe. There's plenty of food options like vendors or you can opt for some burgers and hot dogs. They have plenty of entertainment options for all ages. Face painting or bouncey houses for the kids, a tractor ride or petting zoos for teens, or the food and drinks for the adults. Plenty of picture perfect spots with the pumpkins and other backgrounds. We took plenty of photos as a couple and the tractor ride was especially nice as the driver gives you an audio tour explaining the history of the farm and all there is to see. There is plenty of parking on site but it can be pretty tight at busy times. Come here as a couple, with the kids, or even solo. So much to see and experience. We had a blast! Visited this gorgeous farm for their seasonal Pumpkin Patch! Everything about it was so cute. Parking & Admission is free. There's plenty of parking on the lot, it's family friendly, and they've got lots to do. There's a pumpkin patch, games, farm animals, horse rides, hay maze, & a tractor ride! They have a little shop that sells homemade desserts, they look delicious. We got the kettle corn outside ($10) and strawberry lemonade ($8). Be advised, they accept CASH only! They are dog friendly, and have many shady spots to hang out w the family. Greenspot Farms is such a cute place to visit, especially during Halloween season! One of my favorite parts is the friendly dogs roaming around the farm, they're so sweet and make the whole place feel welcoming and homey. There are several animals to see, fun merchandise to check out, and lots of kid-friendly activities to participate in during Halloween. It's a great spot for little ones to explore without feeling overwhelmed. Plus, it's one of the only places we found that was *actually free* to get into, which is such a nice surprise these days. Greenspot Farm is a beautiful little farm that does a great job for Halloween time. Brought our family out here to see the pumpkin patch and add another Fall festivity to our calendar. Although it's on the smaller side, it is a cozy farm that offers fun for the kids (games, animals, ice cream). While there, we did reserve a Christmas tree growing right there in the farm to pickup after Thanksgiving. You can walk through the tree farm, select your tree and reserve it to either chop down yourself or their staff can do so. We are looking forward to it! What an awesome farm! This is another place I decided to try after seeing fellow yelper Leanna C's review. Came here with my family today (Sunday) and was surprised the place wasn't crowded. Also surprised there's no parking or entrance fee. I kept looking for a place to pay but couldn't find one. It seems like you only pay to enter certain events or to make a purchase at the gift shop. Didn't really see any special events going on today other than a kids' jumper, which had a fee (but didn't see any attendant collecting payment). Please note, this place is cash only. I think the main attractions here are pumpkin patch and Haunted Hayride during Halloween time, and Christmas Tree Farm and Lighted Hayride during the Holiday Season. Christmas Tree Farm gives you an opportunity to purchase precut trees, or you can even cut your own tree for purchase. There are farm animals scattered throughout the area. We saw several horses, goats, chickens, and few others. Just wish this place was closer so I can come more often. Was so nice and peaceful today. read more

First time here and first time ever experiencing a haunted hayride! Came here on Halloween night. Driving up to the farm, be aware that the surrounding area and parking is fairly dark. Ticket for the hayride for each adult was $25 (including a $5 discount on 10/31 cash only! ATMs available onsite) and were purchased in the gift shop. There is also a haunted trail ($20 for adults, $15 for kids aged 12 and under). We did not experience this, but did hear several guests screaming and chainsaws buzzing! They also have a fire pit, pumpkin patch and a few photo ops. It wasn't crowded at all, which was a definite plus. Had a nice time and would recommend! read more

My girlfriend and I had such a great time visiting Greenspot Farms because as soon as we got there we were greeted by some friendly farm dogs that were playful and welcoming which immediately made the place feel relaxed and fun, and there were so many different animals to see including goats, chickens, ducks, geese, pigeons, horses, burros, and donkeys, and one of the coolest things was seeing a spotted horse and an albino horse which was especially exciting because my girlfriend had never seen some of those animals before so it made the experience even more special for her, and when we went it was pretty quiet which made it even better since there was only one other family there and they left after about 30 minutes so we basically had the place to ourselves and ended up staying for almost two hours just walking around and enjoying everything, and we also really appreciated that it was free to visit because it honestly felt like one of the best things to do if you are looking for something unique and peaceful to do with someone, and I cannot forget the huge pig we saw because it was massive but honestly really cute, so overall it was a really fun and memorable experience and I would definitely recommend checking it out. read more

This is such a cute little farm. It reminds me of what Live Oak Pumpkin patch used to be like in the fall. Live Oak is a huge production now, and some days, it can be quite a headache. This one is much more accessible and charming. It's much more enjoyable with less crowds, so I prefer this pumpkin patch now. It is not close to the freeway though, it's quite a drive from the nearest freeway exit. They have a lot to do here in the fall season and I heard during Christmas time as well. If you're tired of the crowds in Yucaipa, this farm is a better choice. read more

What a wonderful place this place wasn't too big or too small. Had everything you needed to have a good time with your family. Staff was friendly and kind prices were decent with food. The best part about it. There was no charge to come in and no charge for parking the place had good music going place had plenty of animals for the kids to just walk up and see and touch. We did the tractor ride which was pretty nice guy was very knowledgeable about talking about the history and about the place my two little girls had a great time jumping on the trampolines. They were very fair with time with the kids on the jumpers nobody rushed to kick us out. Tickets are a dollar most rides are about 6 to 8 dollars each. I absolutely love this place! We have been for the hayride for Christmas which was cute and decided to try the haunted hayride. Let me tell you, it did not disappoint! My kids were pretty scared especially by the chainsaws but they had a lot of great touches to this hayride including a real headless horseman on a real horse! Overall the ghouls were great and they take you thru a small maze when you get off the hayride. I would say it was definitely worth the Monty and will be back! Great job Greenspot! read more

This was our spot for decades for pumpkins. But this year it changed. $100 trip with two kids. All they did was 2 blow up mazes that are so small they could fit in my front yard, 1 haystack maze, and a blow up slide 3 times. Then pumpkins are priced by size. All they had out were large pumpkins. $60 for two pumpkins! Outrageous. I understand they need to make money to care for the farm, but the prices should reflect what they offer. At these prices, is prefer to go to a larger farm with more to offer. read more

I really liked this farm overall, and although it's much less busy than other pumpkin farms that I've been to, it can still get a little busy at times. We went on a Saturday right when it opened at 9am, and it was pretty much empty, but also the staff was still setting up at that time as well. By the time we left around 11am, it was definitely pretty crowded, but nothing like you would see at some of the more "famous" pumpkin patches. Overall, this farm was really nice since you can see a lot of different farm animals and if you have young kids, there are enough activities to keep them entertained, such as bouncy houses, train rides, horse rides, and a tractor ride, as well as the usual pumpkin patch. Also, the staff are very nice and helpful and the few that we spoke to were very welcoming. Although parking and entering the farm are free, they do charge for each activity. I can't remember the costs of activities at some of the other more "famous" pumpkin farms, so these might be in line with what you would pay there, but for us, it wasn't cheap to do some of the activities. For example, the tractor ride was $10 per person, or to ride one of their electric cars was $5. The good thing is that they do give you an ample amount of time to ride the electric cars, or enter a bouncy house, which was $3 to enter, but it can add up quickly. Also, they do have some food on the farm, but don't expect a lot of food and it's also a bit pricey. Nonetheless, overall, we really liked this farm and we do plan to go back for their Christmas event. It's definitely our favorite pumpkin patch we've been to so far, but we've only been to 3 others, so we're no pumpkin patch experts by no means. read more

Late review--came here in October! Parking: Dirt parking lots available--it's fairly dusty, so be aware. Ambience: This was my first time going to a pumpkin patch farm. I'd expected it to be bigger, and perhaps it was, but there were many sections that were either blocked off or required payment to enter. It smelled like a farm, which was to be expected. It was quite aesthetic, with fall-themed signs and decor throughout. There was a petting zoo, tractor rides, and various stands selling foods such as kettle corn, hot dogs, etc. Came here for the pumpkins and wasn't disappointed :) They had a great selection, ranging from miniature ones to giants. The shop sold a variety of different trinkets and knick-knacks as well, as well as some pumpkin bread and other baked goods. Price: Admission is free! There are activities that you'd have to pay for, e.g. tractor rides, but it's a good time regardless if you enjoy walking around and being around fall festivities. read more

This is a family operated farm open to the public with a petting zoo, the farms History is that it's been open since 1988 in Mentone, Ca and their property has the Zanja river flowing through it. Every night in December they play free Christmas movies on a projector screen surrounded by fire pits, they offer s'mores kits for an affordable price of $3. Most food items were under $10 and that's a great affordable option for large families. I had an adults outing to see the holiday lights at this farm, my party and I enjoyed the 8-10 minute hayride through some acreage of their 17 acre property. This farm has fresh honey, avocados, oranges, pumpkins, and pine trees for sale. Miss Kathy in the treats cabin is a sweetheart and has worked on the property for many years she made my party and I feel welcome to Greenspot Farms. My parents have visited from out of town and really enjoyed the petting zoo on site of goats. read more

This place is kind of hidden and the turn off the main road was residential at first so I was worried we were lost up until we saw the big entrance. This place is so great! They have so many Christmas trees! Picking a live one to cut down was harder than I thought as there are so many and it is hard to find one and stick with it. We were there for over 2 hours but finally managed to get our two trees. All the good ones, people already took the tags off too so they were already reserved. They had a few varieties but mainly Monterey pines i believe is what they're called. Big fluffy branches instead of the small needles that look like the fake Christmas trees. They also had a bunch of precut trees that were very pricey but definitely the best quality of precut trees I've ever seen. I wanted a fresh one otherwise I would have gotten one of those- they were so nice they looked fake. Everyone was very nice to us and the workers were very polite. Our trees look great and definitely bigger when you bring them home! read more

I have been bringing my son here since he was a baby for Halloween and Christmas for 7 years now. This farm is completely family owned and ran and it's refreshing to see. They have plenty of things to do and see and the haunted hay ride in the evening is a hit every year. I think people need to remember, this isn't or advertised as a carnival, a fair, or an amusement park. This is a PUMPKIN PATCH. They could easily charge for admission and parking but since they don't, they give families of all classes the opportunity to allow their children the experience of a pumpkin patch or Christmas tree farm. I absolutely LOVE Greenspot Farm! It's a beautiful farm with plenty to see. There's horses, goats, llamas, donkeys, bunnies, a pig, chickens and a cow. Whew! I probably have left out a few, but you get the drift, it's a great farm, it's so apparent that they love all of their animals too, everything is so well taken care of. They have events different times of the year, I love their Halloween event, I think they do a fabulous job with the Hay ride and the haunted maze! First time visiting this pumpkin farm. I brought the kids here in October for a field trip and was not disappointed. The ground are neat, and full of fun. The staff was highly educated on everything going on at this farm and enjoyed sharing details with our kids. The kids had a full lesson on bees and teh cycle of pumpkins. The tracker ride was no cheapie ride, it was long and took us all around the farm. We enjoyed going through their two mazes and picking out pumpkins. The animals on the farm look happy and well taken care of which is always expected but not always witnessed. Tons of great photo-ops with the family and overall a lot of fun. My granddaughter loves coming here to feed all of the animals. But we have noticed all the animals water troughs or dishes are usually full of algae or empty :( the poor goose in the pen As you first walk in has nothing to swim in , although there is an area for it, it is never filled with water. And its drinking water is so disgusting. The animals with hooves are in dire need of a trim.. it's a wonder they can walk on them. I was hoping it was just a fluke the first time we noticed , but it's been like this for the past year :( I hope someone can tend properly to these animals and get them some relief read more

This place was a fun place to go. They have a huge lot of trees you can choose from, you can cut your own or buy pre cut. We cut our own and the experience was very fun. The reason for the 3 stars is because we had a couple problems. For one, there's no lighting in the Christmas tree farm lots so when we were looking for a tree to cut , it got dark around 530ish and there was no light to help guide us anywhere. Make sure to keep kids close , no lights and a field of trees is dangerous. Be careful for the leftover stumps they leave everywhere as well, easy way to get a sprained ankle. Second reason for the 3 stars the location is quite expensive compared to other tree lots. It's a good experience I think everyone should do at least once read more

Great place to have a party! The scenery is so lovely. They supply picnic tables (you can bring your own tables and chairs if you want something fancier). They have a nice stage for a band, dancing, and speeches. There's an area to set up a bar/drink/coffee station. Guests can take a walk around the farm, see animals, the tree farm, the pumpkin patch, orange and avocado groves. I'm really struggling writing this review because I support small business and farms and realize they are hard hit during these times. With that being said, I'm really disappointed in the lack of precautions taken at the farm during COVID. This farm is beautiful and there are wonderful activities for the family and photo opportunities but safety should be top priority right now. There was a sign at the entrance stating masks are required but 90% of those at the farm were NOT wearing masks or practicing any social distancing. None of the staff wore masks and to me that really sets the tone. Hay rides were packed with people, shoulder to shoulder, and sanitization was not happening on any of the children's rides. We couldn't let our son participate in anything and literally were there probably 15 minutes . The staff that we interacted with were friendly and I think if we weren't living in these difficult times this would be an awesome place to bring your family. There's a bee house and lots of farm animals. There were pumpkins still available at the entrance, not in the actual pumpkin patch. There was no pricing info anywhere regarding pumpkins so we had to ask. We were told the larger ones would be around $10-15 and the smaller ones would be $4. We purchased a large pumpkin and it was $30! No scale was used just an eyeball of the pumpkin itself. Again, I realize farms and small businesses are struggling so we just paid it. It's an awesome looking pumpkin but I just think there needs to be a set standard for pricing posted for the public to see. My rating of 3 stars is based on the friendly staff, the awesome pumpkin and beautiful farm. The lack of preventative measures for the public killed the rest of the stars for me unfortunately. read more

This place is absolutely amazing. The school I work for brought our kids on a field trip and we had the best time. Our tourist was awesome, so kind and great with the kids. I would most definitely come here again and again. I would also like to add that because this is an OUTDOOR ATTRACTION masks aren't required but always encouraged. So if you're afraid, stay home rather than going, knowing good and well that it's outdoors, rather than jumping on here and writing a bad review. The people who work here are so, so kind.
