I had to switch PCM's because it was clear my old doctor was close to retirement and checked out. I picked this office, and Dr. DelGreco, based on reviews and another of my Dr's suggestions. I can't say enough good things about them. Reception has been very friendly, the PA helped get me set up for follow up appts, and Dr. DelGreco listened to all of my concerns and is getting me the treatment I need. Ladies, if you want an office that is going to hear you and help you and not tell you "have you tried losing 5lbs?" this is the place for you. read more

DO NOT USE THIS OFFICE. They waste so much of your time that it feels purposefully. They are rude, other than the front desk. They want you to travel there during work hours for an appointment, just to waste your time, when it could have been done virtually. They do the same thing to my in-laws. DO NOT GET MEDICAL TREATMENT HERE FOR ANY REASON!!!! Good day, everyone. Ordinarily, I never leave bad reviews, but in this case, I will make an exception. This is, hands down, the worst medical facility I have ever personally witnessed. First, let's start with the single most basic element: getting a live human being on the phone never - and I mean NEVER - takes less than hour. Yes, you read that correctly, an hour or more on hold just to talk to someone live about whatever problem you are having. Secondly, their desk staff is rude, condescending and worst of all, incompetent. I called to get my records transferred because I am taking my business to a medical facility that knows what they are doing, only to be told by this haughty *ahem* person on the other line that 1. They don't have email to accept the HEPA permission form (WHAT???) and 2. After arguing with her to get it, being told that the records transfer takes 6 WEEKS. So I guess the records are sent by carrier pidgeon or something. Also, forget getting a prescription refill from them for anything, even. Even with routine, ongoing meds, you will be told, "Not without an office visit", as that is their policy. We all know that is a scam just to collect the fee. The last time I needed a script refilled, I not only had to involve the Office Manager, but even after that, they called it in to THE WRONG PHARMACY, not once...not twice...but three times. Lastly, the physicians there are all haughty, rude and act as if you are inconveniencing them (and this, even with their "required office visit" policy, noted above). I swear to you, Joseph Mengele had a better bedside manner than these people. They don't listen to what they are being told about about one's medical condition and simply want to assembly line the patient process. I swear to you, it is as if they were trained at Joe's College of Faith Healing and Snake Handling. In summary, avoid them at all costs. Ever since the Highmark/UPMC split I had to change primary care doctors that would accept the plan I'm subscribed to. Greentree Medical is convenient to where I live and the physicians I have dealt with do a thorough examination. They have an onsite lab for blood testing and currently are offering flu shots. On this particular visit I was suffering from severe throat pain. I have had a history of pharyngitis and could tell by the pain in my throat when I tried talking.The physician of the day took me in right away, did a culture and prescribed antibiotics. He will call me next week with the full report of the culture and proceed from there. Normally when I see my regular primary care she does a comprehensive exam, addresses all my needs and makes sure my medications are up to date. If there appears to be anything questionable or suspicious then she will send me to the appropriate place for further testing. So far I've been pleased with the services they offer as well as being convenient to home. read more

I love this practice! I've been a patient for more than 20 years. My doctor is responsive and honest with me when I ask about any issues. I've never had an issue getting results or advice, especially when I use the MyChart app. My doctor is extremely busy and popular, but I can always get an appointment with an associate if she isn't available. I'm not sure what other patients are unhappy about. A doctor you feel comfortable with and trust is a real blessing. read more

Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this place. I won't get into a long tale about the impossibility of getting a call back from this office because it's so similar to Courtney's review. I have never in my life encountered any office -- medical or otherwise -- so willing to just completely ignore its clientele. Been a long time patient of this facility. Difficult to get a sick appointment many times however they do try to accommodate you. All female physicians if that matters to you as well. Appointment wait times are improving but they still got a long way to go to be running on time. At least when you are placed in an exam room the wait usually isn't long, but get comfy in the waiting room you could be there quite a while. Once in an exam room all the docs are attentive with all your concerns addressed without feeling rushed - this is a trade off for the wait times. Not sure what the answer is but I do see a consistent trend of the office staff trying to utilize different systems to improve patient flow and streamline the registration process. Test results are usually given at the next appointment unless they are abnormal for which you can expect a phone call from the doctors staff in most cases. I wish they had some way of emailing the physicians directly or at least one of their staff. Many times a concern could be addressed in that manner instead of playing phone tag over and over. read more

Ive been a patient here for over 13 years and I recently made a trip and called and got the scheduling line and the made an incorrect error and my same day apt had been cancelled, I called back and they squeezed me in on Dr. Thakkar's schedule she was not very friendly I was there for maybe a total of 10 minutes she called me in a medication I took 3 full doses and was still feeling the same I called multiple times waiting to hear back finally called and was about to talk to the doctor herself she told me to come back in and see the primary care doctor I usually see.... I was just in the office on Tuesday I was not going to miss another day of work to go in and get told the same thing.. she then hung up the phone on me! very UNPROFESSIONAL I will be transferring my records elsewhere! read more

The office is very poorly managed. I chose this practice after my insurance changed on January 1, 2017. I have been sick twice and had to wait 4 days before they could fit me in the first time. I called them the second time on February 6 when I woke up with pink eye and again was told they couldn't see me until February 9. I said I couldn't wait that long to be seen so they said they would call me back when they had a referral ready to an opthomologist or I could go to a Med Express. What good does it do to have a PCP who can never fit you in on the same day when you are sick? And I AM STILL WAITING TO HEAR BACK FROM THEM! I did go to a different practice with the Allegheny Health System (who DID fit me in the same day) and was diagnosed with acute conjunctivitis, two ear infections, and sinusitis. AND when my husband was sick I called and they could not see him the same day but said they would fit him in the next day. When he went to the office they said they were sorry but someone overbooked and he would have to come back two days later. Needless to say, he walked out of the office and will never go back. read more
