Once dry, this left a visible jagged border along the ceiling lines, corners, under the railing, and into the family room at the bottom of the stairs. Apparently, the original gallon and the new gallon weren't mixed together for this project, so the tints were slightly off. So, the original work wasn't satisfactory, and their recommended fix created an even bigger problem - all the while assuring me that everything would dry evenly and that I would be satisfied. And all that, by the way, after I pre-paid for the work to be done. Their solution to the whole debacle was to make excuses and charge more money. After dealing with the frustration, and a lack of communication and timeliness, I did not agree to the extra expense. In all fairness, he did offer a bit of a discount to make everything right. Shawn is a nice guy and a member of our community, which makes this experience - and this review - all the more disappointing. On the bright side, the hallway and the ceiling look great. We're grateful for that.

Hired to repair water damage to floor in bathroom. Estimate of $2450 was given & accepted with the…read moreidea there would be floor joists to replace. Ended up the joists just need to be braced, not replaced. Requested linoleum multiple times, but, finally allowed Shawn to use leftovers from another job instead. He said he hated installing linoleum. We went back & forth about it & I decided the outcome might be better if I just let him use the floating tiles, but, the tiles are not sticking right down the middle of the floor, so, I now regret this decision. During the floor repair I asked Shawn if he might be able to install the bathtub & surround we'd already purchased. He said he would install it for an additional $940 labor & we agreed. He shored up the the pipes to the showerhead and installed the pipes for the new faucet. I gave him an additional $100 to purchase a new tub faucet. Shawn then informed us the costs were going to be higher as he had to go to Home Depot. He met with resistance and his attitude changed. I felt that since the joists did not have to be replaced & I'd relented on the flooring used that additional charges were unacceptable. I left for an hour or two & when I returned Shawn was packing up & leaving the job undone. He said hooking up the plumbing to the tub was above his level of expertise, but, admitted it was more about how long it was taking (4 days) and his time was worth more. I told him usually a "contractor" would call in a plumber & would not leave us with an unfinished bathroom. We would have paid additional for the plumber, but, were not given that option. The toilet was not even reinstalled yet. There was a hole in the sheetrock where he'd fallen against it with his back. He agreed to leave his helper, who btw did a beautiful job on the baseboard, to install the toilet & repair the wall where the surround was to go. It was a huge back-sized hole and the repair, though diligently done, is concaved enough that the glue-up surround will not look right once installed unless it is replaced. During the job tools and debris were left in the bathroom, in the hallway, in the kitchen, by the front door and outside in the yard. The bottom line is we would not recommend Heavenly Home Improvements to anyone, in fact, would advise against it.

Sometimes being a woman, some business will try to take advantage of you but none of that nonsense Every step of the process was professional and upfront from the Sales floor to the install I wouldn't consider getting my windows anywhere else and another positive is they are a local business that manufactures the windows right here

When we bought our home 6 years ago, we knew we would have to replace all of the back windows as they were original to the home and beginning to rot. What we didn't know was that the front windows were almost worse than the others even though they were relatively new. These Renewal by Anderson windows were horribly difficult to open, installed extremely poorly, and terribly inefficient as far as heating and cooling were concerned. Our salesman, Charley, was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was very patient, listened attentively and described every aspect of the job ahead. He helped us to choose the best options for our situation and we were pleasantly surprised that this project would cost less than we anticipated. Although we already trusted Taylors, Charley made us feel even more confident in our decision. Installation took 3 days due to the size of the project and number of windows. The crew was incredible all around. Super nice guys who barely stopped working even for a short lunch break. These men were so polite, courteous and clearly proud of the work they were doing. This wasn't a one and done crew. This was a crew of professionals who are craftsmen, and the end result shows. They did an outstanding job and we honestly can't say enough about how nice it was to have them here for those three days. We were dreading the install and it ended up being so much easier than anticipated because of the professionalism of this team. The windows themselves are amazing. We have already noticed that our home is no longer drafty, insects aren't creeping in around windows anymore and quiet - oh my goodness, who knew windows could make such a difference. We can barely hear road noise anymore despite our busy location. We are really looking forward to seeing the energy savings. If you are in need of new windows in your home, look no further than Taylors. You are not going to find anyone cheaper for a quality product and professionally done install. As I stated earlier, previous owner used Renewal by Anderson and those windows cost them more than we spent with Taylors. Shamefully, those windows were total garbage and we are so happy to have them replaced with new Taylors windows. All in all a terrific experience with this company, even better than expected. Thank you Charley, Vlad and crew and everyone who was a part of this. Our community is blessed to have Taylors!
