So we compromised and went halves with a big breakfast and a ham, cheese & tomato omelette. The omelette was light and fluffy with layers of ham, tomato and cheese in the middle. Served with two slices of thick white toast it was a very substantial breakfast. When eaten with the big breakfast it was too much for me to finish. The big breakfast comes with steak, mushrooms, hash brown, three little sausages, roast tomato, bacon, eggs and two thick slices of toast. I prefer my mushrooms cooked and seasoned a bit more but the perfectly runny poached eggs made up for that! The prices at the Coffee Club are up there, but the Entertainment Book has three 25% off vouchers for so don't forget to take it in. The cafe is located at the back of the IGA complex with a generous outdoor patio area away from the main road. There is a concerted effort by the cafe to green up their area with plants (recently rejuvenated with spring on the way) and it really helps to break up the usual car park feel so many cafes can have in shopping centres. For families with young kids there is a great little section set up with plenty of toys to keep your little ones occupied. Having been here a few times I feel like I can confidently say that the food that we've had has been really good and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it as a great place for breakfast or lunch. There is a slightly Spanish bent to many things but also plenty for those just wanting a snack or something straight forward. I do find the coffee a little inconsistent depending on who is making it, not that it has bad flavor but more that the milk is over heated, perhaps that is just my personal preference though. The service is friendly and prompt regardless of weekday or weekend visits which is important. I just wish they were open on Sunday's and public holidays as we'd probably frequent them more than we do now.
