Let me start by saying that Greg and Janet (G & J) are AMAZING. You will never regret choosing them as your realtors. We were referred to them by one of our friends who told us that we would not be disappointed with them in any way, they are THAT good. We had lived in North Highlands for 18 years, and decided that we wanted to move closer to my parents in Elk Grove. We weren't sure if moving was going to be the right decision not knowing how much our home would sell for, etc. My husband and I were extremely impressed with G & J when they came over to provide information about the comparable homes that had sold in our neighborhood. We knew right away that they knew their stuff, and we felt very comfortable with them. Some others said in their reviews that G & J made them feel like family, and like they were their only clients. That's exactly how my husband and I felt. We actually miss them now, ha ha! Getting back to their professionalism, they were there to answer every question, give direction, and assist us in any way we needed them to. In the beginning Janet helped us to stage our home to sell. We went through every room and she told us which items to keep, and which items to remove. I was not so much on board with staging at first because we had lived in our house for so long, and we had LOTS of stuff. But now I know that staging was totally the way to go. Let me be clear, G & J won't make you stage your home. That is your decision. But they will give you all the information you need to make that decision. Our home looked beautiful staged, and it sold within 5 days over asking price. We put it on the market on a Thursday, had 5 showings by Sunday, and out of those showings had 4 offers. G & J's expertise helped us to determine which offer was the most solid. We accepted, and didn't have any glitches afterwards. I was impressed by this because I had other friends who recently sold their homes (not with G & J), whose offers fell through. They had to start all over again. Not the case with us. Then came the home buying adventure. I was pretty concerned about being able to buy a home before someone else swiped it up because of the seller's market we were dealing with. From the beginning, G & J provided us with our own portal that included homes for sale that met our criteria. We were notified by email when homes came on the market that met our criteria. This portal gave us up to date information unlike other real estate websites I'd been using. G & J assured us that with their expertise, they would be able to find us the perfect home. Right after our house sold, on a spur of the moment I asked G & J to go look at one home on the portal that I thought was going to be perfect. My husband wasn't able to go, so my mom and daughter went with me. The house I choose to look at turned out to be "not so perfect", but G & J had the forethought to make appts. to go see 2 other homes afterwards. The 3rd home we looked at had JUST went on the market, and really was perfect. So I called my husband to see if he cared if I made an offer on it right then! He said that if G & J thought it was a good house for the money, and I wanted it, to go ahead. Our offer was accepted thanks to G & J working with the other agent. I was impressed again with the way G & J helped to make our home buying process almost stress free (the stress we did have had nothing to do with G & J, ha ha!). There is so much more I could write about to tell you how wonderful they are, but I have already written a book. I'll end with this- My husband tells everyone that everything G & J told us would happen, happened, and about how much he trusts their knowledge and judgment. He is not easily impressed. I was amazed at how much help Greg and Janet were to our home search and I do mean every step of the way.
