    I have relocated with my family and had to find all the required services again. My new Butcher has been found. Quality meats quality service. This is my personal experience. Give them a call if you are looking for a specific cut of mean or to see if they have what you are looking for.

    Rib steak and Lamb Rib Chops

    Glad I found this place near me. After being let down by some steaks from nearby grocery stores, I finally stumbled upon Greg & Jim's Meat Market. Here's my experience so far: -The bone in and boneless rib steaks that I got here were far better than any of the steaks I bought nearby in the Whittier and Pico Rivera area. Part of this is surely due to the fact that Greg & Jim's steaks are dry aged about 14-16 days, giving a better beefier flavor than the wet aged steaks you see at most grocery stores. -The lamb loin chops tasted great in terms of being juicy and flavorful. As can be seen in the pictures, they were also cut perfectly so that you can enjoy the benefits of that sweet sweet lamb fat with a thin strip of meat running along the fat. This is even more so true for the rib chops. I've had some loin chops where the bone in the middle is a bit prominent, but the chops I got here had an extremely thin bone/split in the middle, meaning that the chops were mostly wonderful lamb meat. Next on my list is to try their beef back ribs, marinated chicken thighs, and lamb shoulder! This place is likely to be my new preferred local spot for quality steaks and lamb. The steaks especially are an excellent value considering their quality.

    Awesome local butcher, great service. Have been coming here for years and always leave beyond happy. They are very particular about their products, so know the you'll be getting the best. You can also get a turkey here!

    Stopped by today at Greg and Jim's Quality Meat Co with my fiancee just to look around. Do NOT be fooled by the small case. The quality of their products are second to none. I ended up purchasing a 3.5LB tri-tip for dinner and it was amazing. The butchers are friendly and were very informative of the sourcing of their meats. I was also impressed that the butcher also slaughters the livestock and breaks down the sides himself. I would highly recommend Greg and Jim's Quality Meat Co.

    I had been searching for a local butcher to find quality aged beef, and found Greg and Jim's via yelp. Super stoked that I did! I dipped in this past Friday afternoon, and was greeted by a younger gentlemen who was polite and knowledgeable. I went with my favorite cut of boneless ribeye. I just cooked up the meat and it was savory, super tender, and succulent to the very last bite! My 1.5 inch thick boneless ribeye for $21.00 was worth every single penny as it was the very best ribeye I had ever cooked!! It rivaled any $60.00 steak from your well known steakhouses and I'll be back soon for more!
