It pains me to even write this knowing that more people will be flocking out there to get ink done causing me to wait even longer as my cash slowly comes in. At the moment I'm shopping for places to complete my sleeve and while out at Redcliffe I drove past this place. I didn't think much of it from the outside but the evidence is in the inside. Their portfolios have some of the most diverse and precise works of body art I have ever seen. The artists that do the photorealist tattoos are second to none. I got excited when I told them how I wanted to finish my arm and they helped my understand what types of images should I look for in order to have a balanced piece of art on my arm. I stopped short in booking an appointment just because I had no cash. Tell you this though, I'm saving every cent I get from now on.

There's been a couple of times that the girl behind the counter has been more interested in her hair and makeup rather than her job, but that tends to happen at most retail shops at Chermside.

My husband had a 60 minute deep tissue massage with Tim. He said it was the best massage he has ever had. It was executed perfectly and all his aches and pains were gone. Tim was thoughtful and asked lots of questions and made sure frequently if he was ok. He definitely plans on going back. His recommendation was so good that I might just make a booking myself! I showed the hairdresser a photo of what I wanted and it was a realistic expectation. The hairdresser did ask and discuss our options but it wasn't what I expected. I may be a bit more particular with what I want and expected as I had a fantastic hairdresser that had recently retired that always did my hair the way I explained. I don't think I would go back but I think my daughter will as she has long curly hair and you can't really muck it up.

The massage studio itself is not very big, but it does fine by me. The small massage rooms are partitioned by a small wall and they've got curtains to provide privacy. I felt very comfortable there and the masseuse was very nice and professional. Chanel was the name of one of the masseuse there and I'd highly recommend her if anyone stops by here. They also practice Traditional Chinese Acupuncture, Reflexology and Cupping. Right from the start there was no doubt Kelly was a person who had a very professional approach, as I was only in town for a day Kelly opened up her studio for me and the treatment started. Her techniques were excellent, providing plenty of information about the whole process, it was a really great experience. If you have a tattoo you want removed Kelly is definitely the person to go to, friendly, professional and caring. Even as I was leaving Kelly said to me that if i had any questions at all to just send her a text and ask. That kind of service is so rare to see these days because everyone is just trying to make money and not really giving the customer a great experience. The views are great from the restaurant, the food is fab and the service is good. What struck me the most was the general ambiance and cheerful nature of those who worked there. Something delightful! As we don't drink wine and part of the voucher included a free bottle of wine, they were more than accommodating and covered the cost of our drinks so that we got our money's worth. This was a very kind and selfless gesture and we were a tad shocked and very grateful. I highly recommend coming here for even just a day trip. I'd love to stay over one day though! It's a little oasis not too far from the city.

Located on Clear Mountain (as the name suggests) the lodge provides spectacular views of the Moreton Bay Region. They cater for corporate retreats, function and weddings and do a spectacular job. I have stayed here for a corporate retreat and have also attended a wedding - both experiences were wonderful. Great food and service, comfortable rooms and beautiful clean mountain air. A spa and vineyard also feature at the resort however I was not lucky enough to experience either. If you want a short trip away to re-energise and rejuvenate I highly recommend the Clear Mountain Lodge.
