However the quality of their food i think is better than Greggs. Their corned beef pasties are always piping hot and very delicious - not totally weighed down with potato like some bakers do to limit the amount of corned beef in each pasty. Peter's can get very busy at lunch time so it is better to go just before or even just after the lunch rush to save time however if you go after they may not have everything left.

It goes without saying that you pay more for homemade stuff (rather than some of the prepacked rubbish you find in supermarkets) but it is definitely worth paying slightly more as the difference is in the taste. They are always packed on a lunchtime with college students as they do sell sandwiches and other lunch items, so it is best to go before or after the lunchtime rush if you are in a hurry. All in all I really like this bakery. Especially the chocolate ginger cake!
