Complete waste of my time to have this company even get me a quote. I submitted a request in the summer 2020, I finally got a call back in Jan. 2021. They charged me $125 for an estimate. I waited over 4 weeks for the estimate. Then the price they quote me was SO OUTAGEOUS. Their quite was double of another competitor's quote. They want to charge me $66,000 for replacement of 15 windows. This is a "screw you" estimate. What a waste of time and $125. They clearly never wanted my business. read more

These individuals damaged the property grounds and building driving heavy machinery in an unauthorized area to replace one of the smallest Windows of the entire condo. At first they denied the damage and then only completed half of the repairs. I would not recommend them based on their poor judgment. *UPDATE* Thank you Susan for your input - This review is accurate. Added is a picture of the lawn after the repair (No Sod). I am disappointed in this business. I went with them based on a recommendation from a friend and local real estate agent in Summit County. They were slow in the first measurements but, they offered quality products at a competitive price - higher priced than other bids but, since the products offered were good and they came highly recommended, I went with them anyway. They did not order the windows in a timely manner. After 6 weeks of waiting, they called to schedule a second measuring. Two weeks after the second measurements, they called to let me know that they would need to adjust their quote by a couple hundred dollars. Not happy with this but, mistakes can be made. I asked them to send me the revised quote. A whopping 12% ($1100) hike in the quote! No apology. No warning. I called and asked them to cover the difference since it was their mistake. Their sales rep responded the way I had expected any reputable business to respond and told me that they would honor their initial quote. The next day I received a call and was told that they would not honor the quote. I would need to accept the new quote or they would not order the windows. This was two months after the initial measurements had been made! And no windows had been ordered! Is this bait and switch? Poor customer service? Poor quality assurance? How about all of the above. After speaking with one of the owners who assured me that there was no way they could cover the cost difference that was entirely their mistake, I decided to find a different company to install windows at my residence. The cost difference was justified as labor to install a sliding glass door that was mistakenly not added to the initial quote. Cost of the labor - $1100. Wow. That much labor to install a sliding glass door? Think of the math. If a window installer made $100 dollars an hour (which they don't) 11 hours to install a door? Or, maybe two installers at $50 (which they still don't make) an hour - 5 1/2 hours for one door. Really? Wow. $1100 is the cost of losing a happy customer. And, apparently, the labor cost to install a sliding glass door. Steer clear of this company. There are better out there. read more

Our house in Leadville required glass replacement in multiple windows. Jake came out to do the initial measurements and then returned w/Scott to do the replacement work. Jake was very pleasant to work with, explaining and answering my questions throughout the process. Scott was also very helpful. They cleaned up everything, replaced moved furniture and, just generally, so easy to have working in my house. Lori handled contact w/me re: estimates and scheduling. She responded promptly, was patient and re-worked the estimate a couple of times to reflect our budget. Additionally, she somehow worked the scheduling of the job to fit into my schedule, which wasn't easy. I can now see the mts from my favorite windows! These people are horrible, find someone else. I contacted them on August 17, September 18, October 19 and then finally on November 02. I spoke to the owner on November 02, she told me to tell guests (we own rental units in Keystone) to NOT OPEN the windows. I responded that this would not make a guest very happy, she again told me to tell them to "NOT OPEN THE WINDOWS". Firstly, this is against fire and safety codes - plus who would advise you to do this? Gregory Door and Window was more then willing to take my credit card and string me along for 3 months. We used Gregory Windows for a new build in Buena Vista, CO and were very pleased. When our builder mis-billed us and refused to look into it, Gregory Windows was on top of it and got us a refund even tho the builder insisted he did no wrong... it take integrity and grit to stand up for what is right and Gregory Windows did just that. Our windows (Anderson) are good quality minus the retractable screen door (very odd design). We would not hesitate to recommend Gregory Windows to others. read more

We had terrible service with this company. They installed our door incorrectly and charged extra to come back out and fix it. Our charge was $600 over the bid because of their error. We wish we could charge extra when we make a mistake. We have a business and would never dream of charging for something we did wrong. Very poor customer service. Always eager to support local businesses we decided to use Gregory Door for our new front door project. Apart from the five week delay we were/are happy with the end results. The next step in our remodel project was to install new double doors for an entry closet. Based on the success of our front door project we decided to use Gregory Door again. What a huge mistake! Pros: Doors are the correct design, the correct wood species, with the correct satin finish. Cons: Casing for doors was installed out fo square with the expected knock on effect... out of square hanging doors! Box latches placed incorrectly do not allow for the doors to hang flush when closed. Since the doors were hung out of square the vertical door spacing is uneven. Out of square hanging doors led to one door handle lower than the other. Scratches on the front side and back side of the doors rounds out the overall disappointment with this $1700 plus door project. A call to Zach resulted in the promise that he would to come to the job site to see how our project could be improved/corrected. Waiting a full day resulted in nothing...no call no visit!. The onus was then placed on the installer Mike, who couldn't remember who we were or if he had installed our doors! He never showed up as promised! Tired of going around and around with NO positive result in our future, we paid for poorly installed and scratched doors vowing not to use Gregory Door for the other 24 doors we need to replace! Net result: A friend and local contractor came to our rescue. The entire door system was removed. New casing has been installed with correct placement of door latches and hinges. Doors now hang flush and level and look professional! Scratches have been touched up! Two days and many more dollars spent, our closet doors look like they should have! NOTHING LIKE PAYING "TWICE" FOR A PROJECT!!! What We Expect: a cash refund in the amount of $420, which was the quoted amount for the double door installation. read more

These are the most incompetent people i have encountered! They are a window company and it took them 3 months to come out for an estimate for a broken window, gave us a ridiculously high estimate (which we agreed to), and then we paid for half of the window cost, just to wait another 2 months before we finally call and ask if they got the window in/remembered us, and they say they can schedule a time to do the work! When they come to do the work, they say that it would be tot difficult to work with a false roof and that there are dishes in the way so they cannot complete the job. OUTRAGEOUS! I don't know how a company can survive with such horrible work ethic, and incompetence! I will NEVER recommend them or try to use their services again! read more
