I was unfortunate enough to have to see him due to insurance for the last two years and have had enough. He changes my medications at will with no discussion or appointment, and that is when he writes the right ones. Most months getting the medication I need for a serious condition is like drawing the lottery. I can never tell what is going to happen. There have been more than ten instances where I had to argue with his nursing staff about which medicine I am on because the doctor doesn't always look at my chart to see what he has prescribed, and then when his nurses pull my records and show him, he still argues with his own notes and refuses to admit he made a mistake, leaving me with the wrong medicine for an entire month not knowing what the next month holds. He has also given me referrals without my knowledge or consultation and I have to find out when the University Hospital sends me appointment papers. Then when I called to ask his staff about the referral they had absolutely no knowledge he had even given one. When he finally confirms that he did in fact make the referral he tells me it is for one thing only for me to travel three hours away only to find out that the doctor he referred me to doesn't even handle the care he referred me for in the first place. Lastly, I have no confidence in this doctor or his decisions, mostly due to his inconsistency, and causing me personally undue suffering. I recommend that everyone should steer clear of this quack!

For those interested in credentials he specializes in Neurology for IU Health Physicians Neurology Group. Dr. Snook earned his medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine and returned there for his residency. He has hospital privileges at all of the IU Hospitals in Indy, including Tipton. If you are looking for a Neurologist who is personable and a caring physician that doesn't rush through an appointment give his office a call.

Scheduling is an absolute nightmare. My daughter has epilepsy and I noticed my son also having…read more"staring spells". I have epilepsy myself so I'm very familiar with them and knew my son just had an absence seizure. I called my son's pediatrician to get us an EEG scheduled and they had sent over orders for it to be done. I never received a call from them after waiting a week. Again I had to have them send another order in because they didn't call me and again no phone call from them. Three weeks after my initial concern to have him seen was addressed I finally just called them to get some answers even though they are supposed to call me to schedule the EEG. I was on hold for 45 minutes so decided to leave a voicemail. They called me back but I had to jump through all of these hoops just to talk to the right person. They then told me that the order that was sent was not for an EEG but for a new patient exam. I told my sons pediatrician that I wanted an EEG so I don't know if that was a mistake on their part but regardless I SHOULD NOT have to wait almost a month to try to have my son seen for epilepsy. It's absolutely ridiculous that they would let something as important as having seizures go unaddressed for months. Very disappointed!!!
