It's all in the details. Most landscapers state "...it's a job oriented around the details." When…read moreJosh was asked to shape up those details and clean up the edging of the landscape job he did, he said, " That's not in the quoted job." He said he doesn't do edges. (?!) The original design and quotes work were o take out the existing rocks and bushes and shape up the beds. Then add low maintenance plants and mulch. We were told that if we put 50% down, as soon as we could, would put us "...on the job book for 2021. In March, I contacted him to make sure he still could do the job and to get an idea of start time. He told me that if I got the deposit in ASAP, he foresaw getting to our job in mid-June. I called him in May ( he cashed our deposit in April), to get an idea of a start time in June, since he did not contact us with one. He still said that was the plan, but couldn't give me a date range. Mid June came and went with no contact. When I contacted Josh, because we had no word from him, I expressed our concern that we were being taken advantage of. He assured me that was not the case, that he got behind on some jobs. I asked that he just keep in communication and what was the start date from there. He said he couldn't commit a date range. When I pressed, he said it would be done in July. We ended the call that he would contact me the first week of July to let me know when to expect the work to be done. He never called. I called the second week of July and left a message. He returned the message and said he would try to get it in the next weekend. He arrived at 10:15 and we went over the job. He asked if we had talked about him taking out the stumps of the bushes he was to remove. I said yes. He said he probably couldn't remove them but would cut them level with the ground. He also asked if we could use the black tubing already there, as he didn't have any. I said ok, if it isn't too cut up/ damaged. He did a rushed job. Left unfinished edges to the new landscape. There were lots of rocks in pockets all around the landscaping area, as well as weeds, roots of stray bushes, and grass still in the new area, tucked under the mulch; new plants covered in mulch debris and parts totally under mulch debris; sticks, twigs, and rocks left in the work area and surrounding grass. I asked him to clean it up and fix it. His response is above. In my opinion, that is poor quality and professionalism. I had to clean it up myself.

Where I come from all customers are appreciated, and it was not cheap. His workers told me he does large and small. It's all about MONEY with this owner, it's gone to his head... He also chooses landscape plants that are invasive as I had to pull all of mine out and replace them! He comes across nice at first and then after the commitment you see his real, arrogant side. This job was never finished, he cleaned up 50% I'm having to clean up what they left! I am completely disgusted with his attitude and unprofessionalism.

Plants are very healthy, lush, the grounds and surrounding area are inviting and attractive. We were offered a glass of wine and they even had ice pops for children. There's a gift shop, area for sitting and just enjoying being there. Very pleasant, the staff are friendly and helpful. We weren't planning on buying a tree so we didn't have a truck, but they wrapped it in plastic wrap and were able to put it in our car and we had no trouble transporting it.
