The family medicine nurse practitioner is experienced and compassionate. The LPN is experienced and friendly, the receptionist/information manager is friendly and efficient. The parking is on a steep grade, but there are flat handicap spaces. They take many insurance plans. If you need care, they can provide it. :-)

Dangerous lack of organization, communication and empathy, to the point of impacting patient care…read more First, I showed up for an appointment (bloodwork), and they curtly told me I'd have to come back some other time because the provider didn't work that day. Then, they ignored Walmart's refill request. After I called the clinic twice, they finally put the refills through, but with old dosages! They would not return calls or emails. (They left me a voice mail one time and cited outdated records. Other than that, no communication.) They ended up calling in the correct dosages--after I went days without necessary medication--without apology or explanation, just having Walmart put a note on the prescription that I must be seen again for another refill. I'll be surprised if they don't really harm someone with this lack of care--if they haven't already. I would steer clear of this place. It's a shame because I like the two providers I've seen. Somebody needs to get a handle on this place.

This morning, my roommate was experiencing excruciating pelvic pain along with a fever that lasted…read morethroughout the morning. She drove herself to the ER hoping to be evaluated and receive the care she needed. Instead, she has now been sitting in the waiting room for over four hours without being taken back or given any real attention. She has been in so much pain that she has spent most of those four hours crying in the waiting room, yet no one has seemed to acknowledge the severity of what she is experiencing. She even asked for a cup of water and was told they could not give her one. I understand that emergency rooms have to prioritize patients based on the severity of their conditions and that wait times can be unpredictable. However, watching someone sit in severe pain with a fever for more than four hours without any meaningful communication, assistance, or reassurance is extremely frustrating and concerning. This happened on a Monday, and the experience makes me wonder how much worse the wait and level of service may be during their busiest times. Regardless of how busy an ER is, patients who are clearly in significant pain deserve to feel acknowledged and cared for while they wait.
