We scheduled a date and time for clean-out. The CleanCo crew arrived on time. This was during the COVID pandemic, so they all wore masks without complaint. They were professional, courteous, thorough and polite. Before they started work, we did a walkthrough of the home to review what was to be junked and what would stay. During the clean out, where there was any doubt, the crew asked us to confirm stuff to go. That helped us catch a sentimental item that was originally on the junk list. After clearing all the junk, they swept up the floors. Nice touch.

I was quoted a price for a two day job with the understanding that there were certain things I wanted to keep and certain areas that I needed to look through before they galled it away. Well they tried to rush me and make it a one day job and my wishes to leave stuff were not followed multiple times and amongst the commotion I had to ask for things to be brought back you had to watch them like hawks. You tell one person to leave it there you turn your back and someone else is taking it away. The job could not be completed in one day but at the end of the first they they expected full payment. Then it only took half of the next day but no credit was given for taking less time In addition to loosing things I specifically told them were to stay. They also removed a lot of stuff on black garbage bags and when I asked what was in them I was told just garbage and paper when I stopped and looked through several of them that was not the case. It leaves me wondering what else was taken with out my knowledge. I am a firm believer in karma so the universe with right itself if need be and if not may the souls of my departed brother and father haunt them and any objects they removed. Update - one of the boxes they showed me and made it seem that it contained what was on the outside- an old baby bottle cleaning kit did not in fact contain that as I found it out in my garage. I guess I will never know what they got in that box. They were very eager to get it out of the house though. I guess I just have to let it go but it makes me mad. Gotta believe karma will handle it.
