A month later we discovered very disturbing information about the fiancé causing the wedding to be cancelled. We were all distraught, especially the bride to be. Thirty days after the deposit was paid to Allison, and seven months before the event, we requested the photography deposit be returned. Allison had not done any work. The date was blocked out on her calendar for a short period of time and the wedding would have been in seven months, plenty of time to book another affair. Other service vendors such as the venue, lighting, lodging, transportation, bakery, and band who also not done any work to date happily refunded their deposits. The wedding planner returned most of her deposit. Even the jewelry store took back the engagement ring for a full refund. They understood our family's pain and the bride's trauma. Allison Jeffers has no compassion and only cares about money. She refuses to return the deposit. If you engage her be careful about giving her the large deposit she requests. Unexpected events happen in life. Hire vendors who will treat you with fairness and understanding.
