Service was adequate, nothing extraordinary but as expected. I ordered an antipasti (Carpaccio classico di Manzo), paste (Lasagne Verdi al forno), and attempted to also order a carne (Polpettone alla Napoletana) and the waiter seemed shocked I was ordering a 3rd course. He said I already ordered the paste, which one did I want the paste or the carne? He works at an Italian restaurant but doesn't know the culture? He was almost insistent I should only have 2 courses and my Portuguese not being up to a conversational level I decided to let it go. The fact of the matter is we were a party of 15 people and most of them were young people so I planned on sharing it with those near me so they could have a better experience at a nice restaurant they normally would not get to go to. The Carpaccio and Lasagne were good but the experience was also tempered by the fact that they only accept cash and no credit or debit cards. I've been to the branches in the US, Brazil and even celebrated my birthday once in one in the outskirts of London. I recommend the experience and even more, recommend that you keep an eye for their promotions and take advantage of them to go visit during these times. You can either get free appetisers or even the famous knife or cups they use at the restaurant. Have fun there but my suggestion is that there are restaurants that are way better in terms of cost benefit out there.
