The menu seems to be a modern take on traditional German foods. And, as late May is in the midst of asparagus season in Germany (a big deal!), I ordered the White Asparagus with Ham & Potatoes with Hollandaise Sauce. This was a surprisingly satisfying dish and was topped off with their Café Bastei dessert sampler. A very nice restaurant, but a little bit of a challenge to get to if you're taking public transportation from Cologne like I did. :-) Thank goodness for Google Maps!

It's a bit pricey for what it is. Food here is varied and plenty of choice for starters, mains and desserts. I had the Spargel main and it was nice quality asparagus served with potatoes and butter. I quite liked it. I would come back here for a drink or a meal again. It's a nice location with ok food.
