Ate here last year and thought the food was fine but just saw a report from the health inspector that they found nine live roaches and NINETY FIVE dead ones as well as equipment in poor repair. This thick stacked mac and cheese sandwich is served on two slices of toasted buttered bread, macaroni and creamy cheese, and tender pork slices in the middle. The goal is to dip the sandwich into either the tiny tomatoe soup or the sweet barbecue sauce. This is tough because the sandwich was so good on its own. I have a big appetite and I could have eaten another half sandwich, but the portion was reasonable for a splurge. Jeffery, our waiter, was friendly, helpful, and quick. He kindly explained the menu items, the specials of the day, and answered my questions. I would go back for a special lunch. The music was fun and the atmosphere light and low key. Great service! Very friendly and helpful servers. My 11 year old had the Pimp Daddy Mac and Cheese and loved it. Short stop in St Augustine to grab some lunch today, arrived in Orlando earlier today. Grilled Cheese Gallery is a great little gem in this wonderfully historic charming city. We were greeted as we arrived at the register. The server/ , register girl was very informative on the grilled cheese menu options. Our lunches were served to our table. The sandwiches were delicious and the cold hibiscus tea hit the spot on this warm day. I also liked how our server came to our table several times asking us how our lunches were. Great food, great service. During one of my next visits to St. Augustine I must also try the French pastry shop for macaroons. Highly recommend!! read more
