He told me up front costs and made sure I was comfortable with all the information and also in his office! His legal assistant is also a former JAG legal assistant and he was also soooo knowledgeable! The lady who wrote a bad review for Mr. Stanford, was upset because she scammed her uncle & used her uncles credit card to retain his work. He only spent roughly 4 hours on her case that would have normally taken about 15 hours and returned her money ALTHOUGH he clearly states in his contract he doesn't do refunds & she was upset that it went back to her uncles account that had no knowledge that the client (his niece) used his funds. Through all this the attorney was very passive, allowing his client to take hit after hit from the opposing council. We wanted to file for contempt of court for what was black and white violations from the ex husband. This office gave us a court date for the "contempt of court" hearing, but when we drive 40 minutes to the court we found out they never submitted the documents so we didn't even have a court date. There was so much proof to go against the ex husband against outlandish claims, including the children needing counseling and the father refusing any type of counseling for them, but yet this attorney was very passive. Maybe he would send a letter to the opposing council asking to have the opposing council tell their client to stop violating the parent agreement. At the end of the day, 7k dollars in the trash and the incompetent father kept all the children for the majority of the time while all of their grades have been F's continuously, their emotional state compromised, the danger for S.H very high...

Once some time went by we tried to follow up to see what was going on and if anything was needed from us. They wouldn't not return emails or calls. This went on for weeks. The divorce attorney actually kept me married longer than need be. I ended up having to pull my divorce from them and gave it to another local attorney who got it done in 2 weeks (because the judge was set to be in court 2 weeks out). I was really disappointed in my experience here. I will never use them again.

Since her…read morebirth, my child's mother has made several attempts, using the juvenile court system, to keep my daughter from visiting me here in Michigan, effectively stifling any hope of a healthy relationship between us. The times my daughter has visited me have been nothing but positive. At the end of 2017, Brittani Dial was assigned as the Guardian ad Litem in my case. Her role as I understand it is to represent the interest, and best interest, of my daughter. Instead of doing this, Ms. Dial has spent the entirety of 2018 making it as hard as possible for me to see my child. I do not believe scrutinizing and ultimately removing a child's loving father from their life is ever in a child's best interest. She recommended my daughter and I see a psychologist all year, who has confirmed the loving bond between my daughter and I, but did not bother to familiarize herself with these reports before making recommendations to the judge, in my opinion showing a clear bias. She recommended I make the 600 mile trip to Clarksville once a month, all year, my visitation being limited to Montgomery County as if I am a danger to my own child. When I expressed the financial, and psychological toll this was taking, along with my fears of discrimination being a factor in my mistreatment, Ms. Dial responded with a callous, "I don't care how any of this makes you feel". I have never experienced this level of coldness and dismissiveness from my daughter. Ms. Dial continues to stray further from the interest, and best interest, of my child and I do not recommend her or her firm.
