She rarely knew answers to simple questions. When we were in court, I asked if I could speak to the judge and her response was that I'm going to do what I want to do anyway and didn't answer me. That's not an attorney. I reached out to Mr. Casey regarding the repeating disrespectful behavior and that I wanted to switch attorneys in the firm or get my money back to hire another attorney. He ignored me. I asked Simmons to refund me, and she refused. Every single interaction was a horrible experience after they got my $4,500.

A lawyer who is going to work, think, strategize and listen to you. The first lawyer I chose was none of those things. He appeared to either be friends with my husband's lawyer or afraid of him. Maybe both. I don't know. But what I do know is that had he remained my lawyer I would have lost everything. In Jan'19, I relieved him and hired Daniel Bryant. Daniel listened and felt he could help me. And he read my file. I know because he scheduled depositions, emailed, issued subpoena's, gathered witnesses, researched property values all those things that would make my case strong. My previous lawyer didn't do any of this. This helped me to trust Daniel. Daniel doesn't know this, but during a break from court, I sat and watched as Daniel sat and watched my soon to be ex husband. It was if he was studying his mannerisms, or lack thereof. They called me on Thursday morning to set up a consultation, but I was on vacation so I missed the call. I called back immediately and the person Morgan was on another call. That's fine. I was supposed to get sent to her voicemail but there was just silence on the other end of the phone for like 5 minutes so I hung up. I called back again the next morning because I heard nothing back and again, this Morgan person had stepped away and wasn't available. I left my info and was told she would call me back. I even sent an email saying that I called back and not even an email return. I never got a call back. Just from trying to get a callback is why I would not recommend this law firm. I do not want to have to continually call for someone and there not be multiple people I can speak to, or the person I'm looking for is always busy or out. There just seems to be no care or concern for my case and this conversation was going to just be about scheduling a consultation. Save your time and money and go elsewhere.

This is detrimental to the community as it undermines the integrity of the legal system for the citizens in Montgomery County! He filed a lien against my property for payment and I was determined not to pay him for he did not work in the best interest for me. This needs to be a lesson learned to all lawyers, if you can't represent your client properly with the best interests of them, tell them and let them hire a lawyer that will! They are hard to fine in Montgomery County because of the Good Ole Boy System that still exists with backroom deals rather than fair process!

I am a native Michigan resident, my daughter was born in December 2008 in Tennessee. Since her…read morebirth, my child's mother has made several attempts, using the juvenile court system, to keep my daughter from visiting me here in Michigan, effectively stifling any hope of a healthy relationship between us. The times my daughter has visited me have been nothing but positive. At the end of 2017, Brittani Dial was assigned as the Guardian ad Litem in my case. Her role as I understand it is to represent the interest, and best interest, of my daughter. Instead of doing this, Ms. Dial has spent the entirety of 2018 making it as hard as possible for me to see my child. I do not believe scrutinizing and ultimately removing a child's loving father from their life is ever in a child's best interest. She recommended my daughter and I see a psychologist all year, who has confirmed the loving bond between my daughter and I, but did not bother to familiarize herself with these reports before making recommendations to the judge, in my opinion showing a clear bias. She recommended I make the 600 mile trip to Clarksville once a month, all year, my visitation being limited to Montgomery County as if I am a danger to my own child. When I expressed the financial, and psychological toll this was taking, along with my fears of discrimination being a factor in my mistreatment, Ms. Dial responded with a callous, "I don't care how any of this makes you feel". I have never experienced this level of coldness and dismissiveness from my daughter. Ms. Dial continues to stray further from the interest, and best interest, of my child and I do not recommend her or her firm.
