Pleasant and continued as his patients when he moved to Waterford. Our sons (in their 20's) also are patients and absolutely love him too. Shay always makes sure that our prescriptions are sent in on time and to say they're understanding would be an understatement. Especially with my severe anxiety. They're so kind and are an awesome team. They run the office and everything and do it with patience and kindness. They are on top of everything, if you need an appointment, lab work, etc. We love Atchoo Medical Practice and thank God for them, seriously. Dr. Atchoo is so funny and easy to talk to and Shay is a rockstar in the office and on top of emails/phone calls. I can't say enough great things in our 15 years as a patient and if you want a doctor and a team who truly, genuinely cares..this is the best doctors office hands down. The receptionist seem nice enough but some of nursing staff always seem like there's personal issues she's bringing to work. Unprofessional. The waiting area seems like your in someone's living room. Doctor "insist", even with an MRI, that everyone's issues are artritis. Not my case. If you can find another place to get treatment do it. As for me this is probably my last visit. I have had pain doctors in the past who were too restrictive with medication, and others that were too generous. I find this doctor to be neither. We did injections and I seem to be having better results than I have in the past with other doctors. I am happy to have found a doctor that I like that is very close to home.

Well i'm not a fan of St Joe as a franchise period.Dont be fooled by the name and think everyone…read morecatholic, or their movements are godly.Schduled my daughters appointments here and quickly regretted it they are using the company name st joe as well.Thus affliates.These people were slickly at me the whole visit and even found a way to get me out the room to ask my spouse personal questions in regards to our relationship.The stares initially were way to hard all the comments about our daughters were over bearing.But the looks at my Spouse who's younger and white and about a foot shorter than me got us a ton of stares and they clearly begin whispering once they put together we were a couple.The younger nurse was training the older veteran was in stealth mode from the start not for the dad.I stepped out to assist with weighing my daughter and when I returned after not even 3-5 minutes that same nurse whos the same age as my spouse was sitting in a chair right shoulder to shoulder with my spouse in a chit chat and seem startled id was bursting back in so soon.My wifes way more friendly/younger than me so more open to sharing information.I walked in the nurse gave an odd look got up and immediately locked eyes with my spouse and i knew something had happened.Well now we knew the nurse was pregnant and she disclosed this to my spouse and in return my spouse ended up taking a urine test I didnt agree with.And talked about our plans for our family.These people were against me from the moment i walked in.They are 100% for the WHITE mom definately not the BIG BLACK OLDER TALL BULLY RIGHT?Just like St Joe these people have a war against men like me in the hood reproducing with the younger white.My girls were checked as if they were suspected sexual abuse.And not a single dr had taken that course of action and it was actually offensive. The dr called my girls boys back to back char right in front of her.Then mentioned a refferal and when I said thank you with relief she paused and said maybe we'll wait another month and sees if it goes down and said my other daughter was more important than the other.Says who? They both equally important.She didnt say she'd wait another month until I said thank you {she didnt wanna be doing nothing I wanted] And I seen in her look seconds later no appointment?And just to show we had paperwork im holding the babies I ask my spouse to move expeditiously jokingly using one of my favorite rarely used words as the nurse was walking out I watched her ear turn to hear what I was about to say.Her response was to my spouse take your time I'll get it later.They left us in the room with that paperwork nearly 30 minutes.When we stepped out they were completely empty last receptionist was waiting to see us out.Not for me and my black children.And I refuse to be targeted by these people as anything other than a loving husband and father to my children.NOT FOR BLACK PEOPLE HERE STAY IN PONTIAC.THEY JUST WANNA SWIPE YOUR CREDIT CARD/MEDICAID CARD.Just like the hospital they are for the mom and child when having a baby their but moms know once you have your child they become child protective service reporters.WILL NOT BE RETURNING.Didnt wanna forget the way they wanted to pin my daughter down so both could poke her moving body at the same time.My girl knows those shots she started moving one lady poking other getting ready to poke the leg i couldnt watch both of them.So as I held my daugthers leg the nurse did mention I was over the spot shed be giving the shot but now her tone was like she was the boss of me and everyone in the room.I moved my hand her leg flung out I reached grabbed it and froze when the nurse grabbed my hand and moved it.I was caught off guard.Should have corrected that right then.Physically grabbed my hand.Never again.I'm running from the whole franchise st joe.

I am very disappointed. We had a recent visit to bring our baby in. I specifically scheduled to be…read morethe first one in on a Monday so we would not be exposed to anyone who was sick. There was a mistake when they scheduled me (dispite them asking for all our information to make the appointment) when we go there, we had to call twice for someone to answer the phone. They put us in a room and about 15 minutes later realized they didn't have us on the schedule. They had us fill out paperwork on a chipboard clipcoard (can't be sanitized) so there is no online filling out or them emailing it to you. After filling out the paperwork I noticed there was a DIRTY disposable cover (from the ear checker). Remember we are in first thing on a Monday so that dirty cover had been sitting there all weekend (this was actually a habit we had noticed in the past). I go to wash my hands and see the paper towel was out... Then I try to pump the soap... It was also out. Then I try to turn on the water and the water was shut off! I asked about it and they informed me ALL the sinks in the patient rooms were turned off "because there was a leak at one point" so it sounds like this has been left for a long time. I then go to the bathroom to wash my hands and I was DISGUSTED. There was no paper towel in the dispenser. So I look around and see a roll of paper towel sitting on the diaper changing table so so gross. The table wasn't even your traditional changing station. It was a very old looking chipping wooden one. I ended up walking out after I heard a child (who came in after us) coughing in the back room. The whole point of us waiting until a monday and coming in first thing was to avoid germs. There was is also just one doctor, yet they scheduled MULTIPLE people for the same appointment time. We really liked this doctor in the past. She is very thorough and always answered our questions.

Ironic as it is to start getting issued when making an appointment to receive care is a little creepy and Halloween isn't here yet!The staff seemed a little investment ed in the doctor more than me as their reason to service a patent.
