One of them even looked at me, turned around, and went into the back; never to be seen again. I was looking for a suit to wear at our daughter's wedding, and I was clueless about the different fits and styles....I really didn't know what I was doing. After being ignored for about a half an hour, I left. Here's the kicker: Originally, I had gone to the Northgate location. They had a jacket I liked, but not matching pants. The VERY helpful gal working there suggested I try the Tri-County location. Well, after being totally blown off at Tri-County I went back to Northgate and bought the jacket.

My quest for a suit/suit coat for a wedding took me from one end of the men's clothing spectrum to the other. My first stop at another store had me trying on a fantastic sports coat that I later realized was priced at $1,200. I politely excused myself and headed for the other end of the spectrum. The other end didn't work for me either. When I went to this Jos A Banks store to get my coat tailored I looked at the rack in my size and knew I needed to bring my fashion consultant (wife) back to take a look. Between yesterday and today we spent about 4 hours in the store updating my aged wardrobe. Several coats, shirts, ties, and slacks later I'm very satisfied. I was also lucky enough to drop into a sale and find several coats on clearance that fit perfectly. And I have to admit that were it not for the sale I would have probably stopped with the one coat, slacks and shirt and made it work with one of my old ties. Joseph Banks happened to be running a promotion of "buy one, get one free" pants, so I called my dad (who is the store's biggest fan) and he came running down to meet us and get a good deal. The employee that helped us grabbed my boyfriend's sports coat and started pairing it with different pants until he had found the optimum pair. Unfortunately, the slacks that looked stunning with the jacket were not "ready-to-wear," they needed to be hemmed. We asked if there was any chance they could be hemmed before the store closed that evening but the employee told us the tailor was leaving as we spoke. He stopped us and ran to the back and five minutes later returned and said "go put them on so we can measure, they'll be done in less than an hour." Great! 45 minutes later we were called back to the store and my dad and boyfriend went in on an order together and got two pairs of nice dress slacks for $50 each! Not a bad deal at all. Great service and great clothing, I bought a cool pink and navy striped tie for my boyfriend while we were there.

The staff are always friendly and parking is a breeze since the store is in a plaza with a big lot. They have huge sales and a good texting program that alerts you of sales and sends coupons straight to your phone.

They also carry private label clothes that are stylish and fit the obese male exceptionally well. The customer service is fantastic and I return often because they have new merchandise frequently. Another huge plus is the fact that they have all my measurements on file which they use to make sure a) that they pull the right merchandise and b) that my alterations which are done in house fit me to a "T". I asked for a size 11 and she brings me back a 10 also taking almost 15 minutes just to find them! After getting the right size boots I was ready to leave and pay but she was just talking to this old man probably the owner I was just standing there until they noticed me.
