I tried a different vegan gelato every night while in Milan. GROM was on top of the list. My non-vegan friends enjoyed the delicious options and I loved my Limone, which was 100% vegan and gluten free. They also offered Mango sorbet, Fragola, and Lampoon. The vegan fruit flavors are so good! Very fresh and natural.

My very first Italian gelato experience! Though I'm sure there are plenty of places better than Grom, this place will forever go down in my memory as the first time I tried gelato (2nd time in life) in Italy. If you've ever been to the Grom in NYC, you would know that it's WAY overpriced. So naturally, I expected it to be the same way here. To my surprise, it wasn't. They let you try whatever flavors you want at Grom. You can mix and match. A small cup (2.50 Euros) will get you two scoops - but since I was too tired to decide on two flavors, I went with just one. Espresso. Maybe subconsciously, I was hoping that the caffeine from the two scoops would give me some miraculous boost of energy. It tasted different from Grom NYC. But not particularly in a bad way. It just tasted less creamy/heavy, which I liked. I'm a fan! Next time I return Italy, I will deffo be hitting up Grom!

After visiting Italy twice, I finally tried the world's most famous gelato chain Grom, and can taste the hype! It's what a good gelato should be: smooth, creamy, and perfectly sweet. The problem? Although it's the same price as every other Grom branch despite being near Milano's biggest tourist attraction, Grom is nonetheless more expensive than regular gelato, and it's not that much better to justify the higher price. Unless you had to eat gluten-free gelato, I would recommend go elsewhere for gelato of comparable quality that is certainly much cheaper than Grom.

Ahh Grooom~ This is hands down the best gelato I have ever had. The first time I tried Grom was in Rome 3 years ago so I was overjoyed on my trip to Milan when I found out that they had a shop here as well! The gelato is absolutely heavenly and even their waffle cones are good too. They have all the classic flavors and some more interesting ones as well. I tried persimmon last time, which was fantastic but opted for pistachio instead this time, which was also delicious. If you are looking for the best gelato in Italy, definitely try out Grom. You will not be disappointed! FYI be prepared to wait in line. This is pretty popular and it's located right by the Gallery in the main square.

Got the raspberry and lemon sherbet and it was SO good! Friends got hazelnut and chocolate chip and also raved about it!

Absolutely delicious! Recommended by a friend and I was not disappointed. Get the signature flavor! (I tried that with hazelnut on top)

I couldn't find any difference in the taste of the gelato from one location to another. This was the second GROM location that I tried within a couple of feet from the famous La Scala theater. This one was a bit smaller than the location near Porta Ticinese, but same friendly people. I would argue that the gelato is worth waiting for. We were never disappointed and tried different flavors each visit.

Liquorice gelato! Wow it's a special not sure how long it will last

Delicious gelato, friendly and helpful staff - really enjoyed my quick stop here - only thing was finding where to queue there was a lot of people so it kinda got confusing. You can tell this place was popular it was really busy - the gelato is amazing - I had the liquorice flavour and it was really tasty if you ever run by one of these chains make sure to grab some gelato you won't be disappointed!

Wow our first Italian gelato experience didn't disappoint!! The fact that there wasn't too much choice of flavours was actually a bonus for me - I take forever deciding! So I opted for one of their classico flavours, pistachio. Boy was it good! The price is fairly reasonable, especially since we were close to the main square. It was very busy but they served u quickly and the staff were very friendly, especially the girl out front promoting their new peach flavour. As soon as we stepped outside my gelato started melting down my arm like a river, but I still bloody enjoyed it nonetheless!

A small peach flavor Gelato in a cone. For about 2.50€

An ok gelato place. The food seem to be a little bit too sweet and the portion is not as big as other stores.

I would recommend making a reservation during prime hours and sitting outside if they have space there. The pizzas are the thin crust Roman style and very solid - the classic Margherita is the one to get as the execution is fantastic. You get the flavor of a NYC slice made with better ingredients and with a great thin crust. This reminds me of Marta in NYC which closed during COVID. The classic entrees are made in the comfort food style - solid flavors, generous portions, and good ingredients. Be sure to try the costelleta or ossobucco. The cutlet is perfectly tender with a crispy crust served with fantastic roasted potatoes. The ossobucco itself is just okay but the risotto is very satisfying especially with the bone marrow. If you are by the Duomo or Galleria and want comfort food this is a great option.

Prices were fair, and the staff was very attentive. We were able to get some good Italian music and food here. The four cheese pizza is the da bomb. They even give you some free stuff for dessert and a little mini appetizer. However, there is a four Euro tax per PERSON, that might knock the wind out of you. Still, enjoyed the place.
