I guess she means only the easy dogs to groom (not long hair dogs). I've been going hoping it would get better, but sad to say it didn't. I even heard a close by business talking about how rude and disrespectful she is. I saw her literally shut a door on a lady (like squished her) and she didn't even apologize. We booked his…read morefull groom on the phone earlier this week with Kandace (one of their groomers) and she was very helpful and kind. Our appointment today was with the groomer Jennifer. Jennifer has been grooming for 25+ years and her grooming expertise and patience with him surely does show her knowledge. She made this such a lovely experience for Apollo who has a lot of anxiety especially when he's somewhere that is not home. Though he was nervous when I dropped him off, by the time I picked him up he was so happy to see me and had calmed down much. These ladies pampered him and he trusted them quickly, which reassured me how well they cared for him while he was there. A great aspect about the ambiance of this business is the layout/size of the room. It is a much calmer and smaller environment than you'll see at many groomer chains (such as Petsmart). They get started right away and get done in a timely manner; Apollo's groom took exactly two hours. They offer hypoallergenic/medicated shampoo for pets with sensitive skin, which we took advantage of. The full groom consists of a bath, brush out, nail trim, ear cleaning, teeth brushing, and hair trim. He looks fantastic. This is the best i've ever seen him look! Attention pet owners!…read more I want to give you all a heads up about the Canine Comfort Creek...... My wife took two of our dogs in for grooming yesterday. When she came to pick them up she saw one of our dogs in the kennel with another strange dog. That's concerning enough, but then they tried to hand her the strange dog and said that that was our dog. When my wife said no, that's not our dog, they said, are you sure? As though we're not going to know our own dog. They even put our dog's collar on the wrong dog. After a few moments someone brought our dog out from the back, not wearing a collar, they apologized, but that's it. There's so many things that could have gone wrong in this situation. Our dog could have been picked up by anyone disreputable enough to leave their own dog behind. Could have gone to a dog fighter, or an elderly lady with poor eyesight could have picked her up and taken her home not realizing the difference. Not to mention the fact that they put our dog in a kennel with an unfamiliar dog, we don't know that dog, that dog could have parvo for all we know, or it could have been aggressive, or have fleas and ticks, any number of things could have happened in that kennel because of their mistake. This is not acceptable and needs to be brought to the attention of the public. I would exercise extreme caution using that particular company's service.

She has growled at me and attempted to bite at me and the tools. I consulted with a dog trainer who recommended Canine Comfort Creek. When speaking of my concerns with Terry over the phone, she was helpful and assured me that they were confident to give Skye a try and will continue to try even if it didn't work out the first time. When we arrived, Terry and Steven were very welcoming. Even though Skye growled and resisted going to the back, they recommended we leave lol which was the best thing. Haha. Steven did an amazing job on her. We asked that he shave her down and she looks so good and clean. My husband even called to see how she was doing and Terry gave him an update on her progress. When my husband picked her up, she was so happy and didn't seem overwhelmed at all. Thank you Canine Comfort Creek with a super shoutout to Steven, for caring for Skye and for us too! Hehe. I'm so relaxed now knowing that we have a place for Skye to get groomed.

I requested a simple trim, but they left my dog looking completely uneven and choppy on all sides. His tail was cut far too short, and his face was poorly done, making it clear that the groomer lacked the necessary skill. The overall result was unsatisfactory and upsetting, and I would not recommend this place to anyone. I certainly won't be returning.

She patiently listened to my LONG list of requests without making me feel rushed and asked for clarification when needed. The first time I went to her, I had given her a handwritten list of everything I wanted done; I was pleasantly surprised to see upon my second visit, that she had saved it. It was very apparent to me that she worked hard to accommodate my requests and that she genuinely cares about doing a great job. My dog gets highly anxious when she goes to get groomed, so I appreciate that Denise is soothing and patient with her.
