First off the staff is amazing. Very personable, I get text message updates for my appointments the day of to make sure I never forget! Which is awesome because I tend to forget appointments a lot with a busy schedule. The prices are affordable for people who do not have insurance or coverage. I see Joe for Massage Therapy sessions weekly. I can't begin to describe how it has changed my day to day life. I may be young but my body felt very old for a long time. Joe has helped relieve so much tension in my muscles. I have always struggled with my shoulders and hips bothering me, I accepted it for a long time. But I am happy I decided to make an appointment to see Joe because I feel like my body is becoming normal for once. When I leave his office I walk better, I sleep better, I feel better when I wake up. My body doesn't constantly feel like it needs to be adjusted or cracked. I feel more limber and less stressed. I noticed the knots in my shoulders have decreased since I began seeing Joe. I am more conscience of how I sleep because Joe showed me the best positions to sleep in. I've been to many different chiropractors. We just moved to the area so I needed a new one. This will not be it for me. Charging $55 for 5 mins to twist my back twice is highway robbery and not common for chiropractors. To the point that I rarely review businesses but felt so scammed that I needed to. I went in out if alignment and asked about a drop table or other methods that she uses and she seemed insulted that I even asked the question saying the owner didn't want to spend the money for it. She had said she was new and that I needed to come back twice a week for several weeks to see benefits even though I was according to her "easy to adjust". She commented that I might have a shorter leg but no other chiropractors (over 20 years) have ever thought that. No lady I'm just out of alignment and you don't know enough to fix me. read more

Dr. Barnett really helped me out today after my lower back had been giving me agonizing pain the last few days that couldn't be solved by any stretching, heating pads, tiger balm patches, or even pain killers. I knew I needed a chiropractor after speaking with my father who has experienced similar back pain his entire life and really swears by his chiropractor. After a few searches on google and here I saw Dr. Barnett's business listed but there weren't any reviews on here, just google. But I liked what I read and gave them a call. His receptionist Franny (spelling?) was so helpful on the phone and squeezed me in as early as she could because she could hear the pain I was in as I tried to tell her my problem. When I arrived today she was just as pleasant in person as she was on the phone. Very welcoming and cheery. When I filled out the papers and gave them back she included them in my folder and gave them to Dr. Barnett. The first part of the visit with him was explaining the areas of pain I had written on the sheet and we spoke in length about the causes and how we could remedy them. I felt he was very knowledgeable and wasn't trying to sell me on anything but rather help me in the best way he could. After a brief but effective alignment I was out the door feeling leagues better than I did going in. Also, did I mention that this service only cost me $45? and that's without using insurance because mine doesn't cover chiropractic. I felt that for the quality of service I received 45$ was a steal. I will most definitely be back for regular alignment as part of a plan to help keep my back from ever becoming that messed up with pain again. read more

Picking a chiropractor is a tough and difficult decision. I have always been hesitant going to one. As I am constantly traveling from New England to Florida by plane or car, I have notice lately that my lower back and neck is stiff and aggravating. When I asked around to community businesses in Groton, Dr. Barnett has a great reputation. I decided to see him. His introduction was kind, pleasurable and even best, straight to the point. He did the assessment, explained how he will meet my goals and how to achieve them. He is very knowledgeable as he explained the medical terms to where I understood them. With him putting his best foot forward, I decided to continue on. With the first session, it seemed scary, but intriguing. He definitely has the art with his methods and is masterful. With his recommendations of doing minors strengthening movements at home and in the gym, on my second visit, a new approach was made. At the end of that session and thereafter, I felt like a new man- younger and stronger. I was able to return back to a full gym workout with no pain and I kept my appointments for maintenance reasons. I guess you could say, "Like Barnett and All state, you certainly are in good hands"! I've had some back issues in the past, and I've been treated by other chiropractors back in Kansas which is where I'm originally from. Living out here now, I found Dr. Barnett after my back started acting up again. He was great. I went in and not only did he give the adjustment that I needed, but he also helped me with some exercises that would help that I could do on my own.
