Nobody, and I mean NOBODY has ever provided service like Pat and his crew. I knew from the moment I met him and his Midwestern values that I would choose him. He exudes honesty, a caring heart, and he listens! That's Pat and crew. His painter Efrain (sp?) along with nephew Chris are the most conscientious, meticulous, and professional painters I have ever met. They replaced damaged siding and painted my homes exterior body and trim along with a door. The paint around the door handle and lock look like it came from the factory that way. I'm so incredibly impressed. The ingenuity and care Efrain showed when solving my nagging home problems moved me to tears. His gutter and downspout crew consisted of 4 men. I refer to them as "gutter ninjas". They were incredibly efficient, skillful, nimble, helpful, kind, and considerate. Add all of these fantastic men together to come up with one incredible team! Oh the winds of frustration, dispute, and unhappiness have plagued my neighbors and myself over the years dealing with contractors. NOT KNIGHT EXTERIORS. On 2/26/2019 I received via Registered Mail and 'Notice of Intent to File a Lien' on my home by American Garage Door. After a lot of frustration trying to get this resolved, I sent following email to Dave Weaver (the contractor I work with from Colorado Roofing) on 4/5/2019. "Colorado Roofing did not pay American Garage Door the additional monies I paid you for the upgrades. American Garage Door has now placed a LIEN on my home for 936.00. I am so very disappointed in you and your company that professionalism was thrown out the door. Please resolve this issue by COB 4-8-2019 even if you have to hand deliver the payment to Tammy Howard and American Garage Door on Monday. I want notarized copies of all paperwork and payments made on my behalf. I also want a signed and notarized copy of the payment to American Garage Door. Having a LIEN placed on my home hurts my credit and my good name. This is unacceptable as I paid you in good faith." Here is the response I received.... "Attached you will find your paid in full invoice there's ever a problem maybe you should try calling before sending an accusatory email" Please notice that Dave Weaver was on the defensive and never mentioned that it was 63 business days after Colorado Roofing received my money until the invoice to American Garage Door was paid (Paid 3/5/2019). No mention that it was over 90 days from the time American Garage door invoiced Colorado Roofing. No apology about the late payment resulting in a 'Intent to Lien' notice. No offer to call American Garage Door to make sure everything was resolved. No willingness to do what he could to help me the client who paid everything timely. ONLY Defensive response. American Garage Door made several attempts to collect prior to processing the 'Intent to File Lien'. Only then did Colorado Roofing pay their debt. I can only assume that this is a ongoing problem with Colorado Roofing and Dave Weaver. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY. Please do your due diligence and research before hiring a contractor and company.

They showed up again to walk the roof with the adjuster pointing out areas that needed attention. I was able to get a full roof replacement. I haven't heard a word in text email or call from Sam since our last check cleared. Again, great work, but very strange that there's no support or follow up, so beware of "warranty" support. He claimed he would send people back out week after week to fix issues (and collect MORE money) but never did. They were slated to do both my patio and build a pergola, but after the patio was done I had no interest in in letting them build the pergola. And good thing - the eventual replacement I found did fantastic work, at HALF the price of Sam's estimate!! Here are some of the issues; 1. I have a sprinkler head that feeds a drip system. I told him day 1 it was very important NOT to cover it. He said ok, and so crew moved the head over a couple feet... THEN COVERED IT ANYWAY!! Now if there's ever a problem with that head, I'll have to tear up the patio to get to it. His response? "It'll be fine." Seriously!! 2. It's a square space, but the paver stones were laid at a 5-10 degree angle?? Then the edges were cut perfectly straight at the ends, leaving an ugly unnatural finish in a very obvious place. 3. They rebuilt our bad step, but it was already cracked the day he finished. It's not even by the door to be stepped on, why is it broken already? 4. Polysand (the cement-like hardening sand they use to keep it together) was left splattered all over my house and screen doors and windows. I had to scrub the house clean, but the screens are shot. 5. The patio slopes in three or four different directions, but I'll allow the weird Broomfield soil and my original slab take some of the blame for that. After weeks of waiting for any contractor to get back to me in this overwhelmed market, I was thrilled to finally have someone to work with. But I would not recommend their services to a friend after this.
