I had been thinking about invisalign for like 5 years prior to this visit. When you first arrival, you have your consult with Michelle, She takes some pictures and talks you through the treatment. Then she introduces you to Dr.Korne and he answers any questions you might have. Let me tell you, I cried a lot during this process and it was literally just us talking. Michelle was super nice and reassuring. She was just such a ray of sunshine, that it was exactly what I needed to go through with getting this done. She answered every call and email with so much love and patience. You come back a few weeks later and they show you options of what they'd like to do for your teeth. It's actually really cool, they give you this log in and you can check the progress and what your teeth will look like. He gave me three options, which I really liked. One that was easier for me, someone with a lot of trauma concerning dentist. One that I wouldn't like but he really thought I would get the nicest smile with that option.. and a middle option. He gave me three because he wanted to do what I felt comfortable with. I ended up doing his option after much crying. (it was very much so worth it) Dr. Korne is nice and exceptionally talented. He would make an effort of dealing with my anxiety and tried to make me feel better, which was very sweet of him because I could tell he didn't understand where I was coming from. I appreciate his effort so much. :) Anna, takes a moulding on your mouth to really get the processes started. She's a bit rougher then I'd like and not as understanding, But she is very talented, patient and has a kindness to her. His assistant Jenny is my favourite! She's so kind and high energy. She was very sweet with the understanding of my anxiety and quickly understood how to work with me to make sure everything went as smoothly as possible. She made the experience at this clinic wonderful. This orthodontist is pretty expensive, But absolutely worth it. They offer payment plans as well and really work with you to make sure you can afford it. I never once felt like they were out to get my money. I love how Dr.Korne provides matching outfits for his staff. The two lovely ladies at the reception are always matching and it just makes me happy. They are so bubbly, sweet and just gentle individuals. I love walking into his office. All the technicians have matching outfits as well, it's just great! The office is bright and very clean. They don't offer parking however it's in an area of Westmount, That i've never had an issue finding parking. If you're petrified of the dentist/orthodontist, this is the office for you. I've never once felt stupid for crying because I was scared.. and I started this process when I was thirty.

We are seeing him in Dorval but they are there only one day per week, but this works out as the office is near my sons school. He is really nice and so are the staff. Now why was I looking him up after we have been going to him for well over a year? I did not do a lot of research for price as he was the only orthodontist I found near me. I have always wondered if I was paying too much. I still have not done comparison shopping even though it is far too late. My bad. I would like to know the average prices. I do assume that he is competitive, at least I hope so as I am near paying the full amount. It is tres cher though. I do recommend comparison shopping but I also recommend Dr Bach. Why only 4 stars? Only because I am paying so much. Of note though is the my son seems to have more pain than his other patients. We had some really strong pain killers left over from an operation that we had to get done before we could start so my son had to use one each time they changed the wires. Fortunately Bach was kind enough to give us a new proscription when we ran out. Most kids seem to get by with ibuprofen.

Unlike a previous orthodontist I had seen, Dr. Steinberg understood the issue right away. He proposed 3 alternative treatments, which we discussed and chose together. In the end, the treatment we chose included jaw surgery, an unique custom appliance (designed by Dr. Steinberg himself) and a year with a retainer full-time. Not an easy journey, but totally worth it! My bite is now correct, the jaw pain is gone and even aesthetically, I find I have more of a big, beaming smile compared to before. I still have a bit of numbness in my chin as a result of the surgery, but that was expected. I've been coming here since 2012 n I really love how calming the atmosphere is. It really helps someone like me with terrible gingivitis. I wish my dental insurance was better tho...or that the staff would offer a fixed payment plan or something, but otherwise can't complain. I grinded my 2 front teeth down to lil nubs by running on the pavement back in 2012...and the work Dr. LaForte put in to fix those buggars was phenomenal. I can at least smile until we do a more permanent fix in a few years. Equally u should see how well he repaired, so far, 4 of my boyfriends front teeth (they used to be black and he fixed them to brand new white!) They really take the time to recommend a proper treatment plan and they are totally willing to let u decide what gets prioritized (my boyfriend needed teeth pulled but he really wanted a nice smile so they repaired the 4 front teeth first at his request). After getting my x-rays done (it was my first time there) I had my teeth cleaned by Maria, who was courteous, fast, and very good. Afterwards, I had a session with one of the dentists there (I don't recall his name), who was very friendly. It took about 90mins all up, but the results were great.
