The owner Karen is very knowledgeable and set me up with a daily skin care routine that WORKS. My go-to treatment is the Grove Dermaplane and peel with Carolina. It's relaxing and every time I leave, my face is glowwwwwwing and refreshed. Carolina is very personable and I spend half my appointment laughing. My other go-to is lamination and lash lift/tint. I started coming hear beginning of 2020 and have had great experiences every time I have stopped in at Grove and Kane! I was hoping to go monthly but due to COVID, that wasn't going to happen/hasn't happened yet, but hopefully they can open back up regularly soon! I have gotten: - the 2nd Ave Facial - microderm I think my first time might have been with Karen, and the rest of my visits have been with Kelsey. Both girls are great! Prior to going here, I was just using the brand Biore, which they pointed out was not great for my skin and making it super sensitive. Had such a great experience with Grove and Kane that I didn't even hesitate to sign up for their membership because I knew I'd be back. Jazmin did a lash lift for me. She treated me with so much care that I fell asleep on their heated bed/table. It was a great balance of letting me relax but keeping me informed through the process. I was doing a lot of research online for a local esthetician and came across Grove and Kane. Every single review I came across was positive. I've been coming to Grove and Kane for about 3 years now - started with Rachel in Ballard and then I moved north so continued with her at Everett until she left and recommended I see Katrina. I can't say enough great things about Katrina. I have very sensitive skin and have been afraid to try anything too intense which Katrina completely respects and doesn't try to push. However, I started to realize my skin goals and the treatments weren't aligning so when I brought that up, she gently suggested we do more but made it very clear that this was a recommendation but that it was on my timeline and up to me. We started doing chemical peels a few months ago and my skin has transformed. She listens to me and how my skin reacts to the peels so she can adjust the formula accordingly. My skin is so awesome, I can't stop staring at it sometimes - never been better! I also have to commend Katrina on her memory. I go once a month and know she has a ton of clients that she sees besides me, yet she somehow remembers every minute detail I tell her about my life. I've been seeing her for 2 years now and she even brings things up from long ago. It makes me feel special and that is just above and beyond. I had a lash lift and tint done with Carolina before I left for vacation and they came out really good! It was about 45-50 minutes to do but honestly didn't feel like it.
