During the time he developed a HATE for his highchair - which was EXTREMELY strange! - because he use to LOVE eating. Between my daughter and me - we snuck in and observed - unbeknownst to the owner and his caregiver. They were leaving him - and all the other kids in there highchairs from the time we dropped him off until their breakfast time - approximately 2 HOURS!!!!! When I approached them, the denied it!!! I told them how my daughter and I snuck in a observed; how I dropped him off at 6:30; she came in 2 times and then I came in at 8:30 and HE WAS STILL SITTING THERE!!! I then contacted Lee County DHR. NOTHING came from it!!!!!!... They were a "reputable" daycare for over 20 years and "never" had any issues with DHR before - or so I was told. This daycare needs to be SHUT DOWN!!!!!!!! IMMEDIATELY!!!!!!!!!

I feel like I'm leaving my baby with family every morning, and they send updates in an app to share milestones, activities, and progress throughout the day. I light up each time I get a notification. Not only is the Kingdom Childcare team top tier, but they keep the facility neat and clean, which is a major plus. My child is definitely growing and thriving at Kingdom Childcare.

LONG POST ‼PLEASE READ‼…read more Just had the worst experience with Kingdom Child Carein Opelika AL . On yesterday I had car issues which caused me to be 15 mins late for picking my kids up. The daycare closes at 5:30 I got there at 5:45pm (first time ever being late)... I came in apologizing for the delay & The director AMANDA said "It's a $35 late fee." So I asked can I pay it Friday she said " No it has to be paid by tomorrow" I said ok and also I left my card at the time to swipe them out . So I advised her that I'll back swipe them on tomorrow (today) .So today I didn't let Brookelyn go to daycare because she was sick . Paityn however went to school today the van normally picks her up . So I get a call from her school saying she's still there and that the van driver refused her saying "She can't ride the van you have to call her mom." So I call the daycare and asked "Is there a reason why Paityn wasn't picked up from school today?" And the Director AMANDA stated " Yes she wasn't picked up because you owe a fee ." So at this point I'm appalled so I said " So y'all just left her there anything can happen Kidnapping, Predators etc" So she say "So you think your child will be molested/raped at school?!" I said " I don't know anything can happen I don't trust her with anyone if I couldn't get her what would've happened?! " Let's not forget about the incident that happened over a month ago to that 5yr old baby in auburn... so of course I was heated . AMANDA was so disrespectful saying how she could've called dhr for child abandonment on yesterday for me being late & said " IF YOU GOT HERE ON TIME YOU WOULDN'T HAVE A FEE!" So I said if this were your child you would be the same way she then hung up in my face ! I called back she gave another lady the phone stated that she told me that my kids couldn't return until the fee was paid which was a lie if I knew that I wouldn't have had a problem! So AMANDA is in the back telling the other lady to block my number ! So I said I'm just going to report you and unroll them The she said "GIRL GO GET YOUR LIFE !" At that moment I went blank and told her b go get yours ! And hung up so I immediately went to the daycare with my boyfriend to collect my kids belongings she's already outside so me and him get out .. She stands infront on the door like we're coming to bomb the place and said only she needs to come in and I said he's going in because I trying to avoid confrontation. She said " Oh baby there's no confrontation here !" I said it is though you just told me to get my life on the phone remember that ? Why would I want to come in ?! So my bf proceeds to open the door and AMANDA SLAPPED HIS HAND OFF THE HANDLE !! Then she asks do I have the card to swipe them out he looked at her and said if he wanted it to be a problem he could've made it one (said it as calm as possible) nobody was looking for trouble . So she goes and tell her assistant to call the police on US! I'm coming from the car with the card she locked the door and I'm like here's the card you want me to swiped them out ? She was already on the phone with the police. (No reason to call them what so ever)So I called them too . So when they came I told the policemen of my situation and he said " I grantee your child is safer at school than here !" They went in to speak with her and she just lied on us saying we're always pick them up late which we don't ! Yesterday was the first day ! If that was the case i would've been aware of this situation before hand ! They close at 5:30 !! 5:28 or 5:29 is not late ! Then tell the police that they can come back to the center once the fee is paid ! BABY I wouldn't let my GOLDFISH GO TO THAT DAYCARE let along my kids again from the DISRESPECT THAT I RECEIVED! So I swiped them out and collected their belongings & I asked is there something that I can have printed out with the check in & out times she said no we have the sign in sheets that can be printed whats it for ? I said me and people I need to send it too , she says well they can call and request it and I said sure we'll be in touch ! I found them a new daycare within the matter of mins !!! AND PLEASE BELIEVE I'M GOING BEYOND WITH THIS ‼‼ I never gave them any trouble at all and they only been going there for a month !

My husband passed a year ago this past November. It's taken me this long to think about my review…read moreinstead of reacting in the moment. When selecting a funeral home I selected this one mainly because my hubby wished to be cremated and the crematory was on site. In our meeting, I was highly disappointed in the behavior of the director for several reasons. First, when I mentioned I had read all about cremations on google, his comment was that's where I made a mistake. Not only was that not called for but so very untrue. I learned so many things I did not know. I was as able to ask to see my husband which I did. He seemed surprised but let me. Then his cell phone rang and he proceeded to carry on a conversation with his wife when he should have said I'll have to call you back. Instead they talked about lunch. I ask if he needed to excuse himself. I ask to see the crematory for the purpose of cleanliness. He did take me down to it but also proceeded to take the clipboard off the wall to show me how they log who's in there and I knew this from google. You could see the clipboard so no need to remove it to the point I could read the persons name. He proceeded to open the crematory itself after I ask him please not to knowing someone's remains were in there. At that point I was absolutely devastated thinking to myself what would their family think along with the invasion of privacy. I went home thinking very hard if I wanted to have my husband picked up and taken somewhere else. I chose to stay there and discuss my concerns afterward and we did. You also have the right to view the cremation process and take part in process. I elected to see my hubby's care until the end and my son and the crematorium placed him up on the roller and I pushed the crematory button to start the process. Something I still do not regret. The crematorium assured me it would not be opened until his remains were removed. When I picked up his remains they were in a black box where the lid did not even fit securely. It kept coming off. It had to be taped shut. I special ordered his urn so I elected to move him over myself at home once it came in. I will say the response time to the Bethany House was incredible. And he was able to get the casket I picked out from Montgomery before the next morning and my husband looked at peace in it. I was very satisfied with the great job they did preparing him. And the director did apologize although he also made excuses along the way. So off to a rocky start but all worked out in the end. A year ago I would have rated them a 1. I do think this is probably an amazing place. Everyone else couldn't have been more respectful. Hopefully the director and his wife learned a few things during my journey.
