It was $129 out of pocket for updated xrays and they called after the consultation to plan/schedule the oral surgery. They worked with my insurance and provided an accurate estimated out of pocket cost (about $900 for 4 wisdom teeth removed, anesthia). We scheduled his appointment and he was brought back promptly and it about an hour the staff came out to greet me and meet him outside to take him home. I loved how they took the time to check in with me, observe him and wait til it was safe to discharge. The surgery wad successful 2 up top were smooth pulls no stitching and the bottom 2 were impacted and had light stitching. He was just fine with general anesthesia and it wore off slowly and he had zero reactions. The waiting area was clean and comfortable. The Playlist of music was uncut and the lyrics were amusing but I'm not sure anyone else noticed that. I appreciate the after care follow up and the phone call checking in. Thank you for a successful procedure.

As I was already having difficulty speaking, I was telling the gal what was going on and halfway through she cuts me off to say she has another patient in front of her. I sit on hold, then am randomly transferred to someone else. The next gal I spoke to asked what was going on, told her, puts me on a hold. Comes back and asks for my information. I explain the laceration and she later asks if it's a bump. I tell her it's a laceration...she then puts me back on hold. When she returns she says they have to ask the doctor and they'll call me back. Just very poor customer service, unhelpful and disorganized. Don't recommend.

Dr. Zafarnia just fixed my front teeth. Since 2019, he has been my dentist and has completely…read morechanged my life. He has had to do extensive work on every single tooth I have. I've had to have four molars extracted and extensive work done. This is all due to medications like lamotrigine and trazodone. Drugs that caused me to have dry mouth at night and eroded my enamel. I no longer use these medications due to the side effective. He is the best doctor I have ever had and has literally saved my life. He treats my whole family and I would recommend him to anyone and everyone. If you have a fear of dental work, you cannot feel his injections for numbing nor the work he does. He is gentle, kind and compassionate about his patients. He is genuinely concerned about your oral health and how it affects your overall wellbeing. Thank you and God bless you Dr. Zafarnia. Older post during COVID When Covid first happened, I had no medical nor dental insurance and a severe infection, in one of my teeth, abscessed and I needed a root canal. This was when all medical and dental offices were ordered to shut down and only emergency cases were to be handled. Dr. Zafarnia agreed to see me through a referral and by the time I got into his office, the left side of my face was immensely swollen. He gave me a root canal and I believe he also prevented a critical loss of life from happening. I also have had two other teeth extracted and practically every tooth in my mouth has some major problem with it. I was having trouble just eating food. I was incredibly malnourished and my health was very poor. Dr. Zefarnia understood my problems and the critical nature of them and he took me in, as a patient, with minimal ways of compensating him, for his time and work. But he started addressing each one of my oral health problems, one by one. I have been seeing him now for a little over two years and he has addressed 98% of my oral health problems. I still have quite a few more appointments with him, In the future. I am now much healthier and have better nutrition and overall health, because of the things Dr.Zafarnia Has done for me. Out of all of my healthcare providers, Dr.Zafarnia has improved my health, more than any others and moreover, he has improved and restored the quality of my life, to where I am not only healthy but happy now. I was very depressed, because of my problems and now, out of the prayers I do say, multiple times daily, I thank God for him, every time I pray, brush my teeth or do anything, regarding my mouth. He has truly changed my life, for the better. I used to have severe anxiety, before going to the dentist and now, I look forward to every visit I have with him, even when my wife goes, I enjoy stopping in the office and just saying hello and seeing him. He is by far the most compassionate healthcare provider I have met in my life. He is much more than just a doctor, he is a true compassionate human being that is looking out for the health, of everyone he encounters. I know that he improves the quality of life, for everyone of his patients and anyone he sees. He is a true godsend and a man for humanity. I cannot express enough, my gratitude, the incalculable debt, that I owe and that one could only repay, if I were to return the favor and save his life, as he did save my life. Dr. Zafarnia is truly doing God's work and God most certainly has a special place and existence, for him on the other side. I recommend him to everyone, when my oral health issues pop up, with my family and friends. Thank you Dr.Zafarnia and God bless you.

Neal, Leonard and Sorensen (NLS) runs the gamut, from the highs to the lows, with everything settling into a mostly middle experience. NLS is a factory disassembly and assembly line. The procedure was rough, but less due to the staff than the procedure. It's simply a terrible thing to have a piece of your body you've had in place for a half-century sawed off and ripped out. Recovery was flawless. To say I had little pain would be inaccurate: I had zero pain in the first several days.

# Extremely Nasty Receptionist and Overall Bad Experience…read more Everything looked nice and professional when I called to book a new-patient examination. The scheduling process was smooth, and nothing unusual was mentioned. All seemed fine. I arrived for my appointment, checked in, and sat down. They explained they wanted to take X-rays and images before the examination. No problem. Then, out of nowhere, I was told that they also needed to take my blood pressure. This was the first time anyone had mentioned it. It was never discussed during scheduling, never disclosed as a requirement before the appointment, and only came up after I was already sitting there ready to be examined. I felt completely ambushed. Had I been told beforehand that a blood pressure reading would be required before even a routine examination, I could have made an informed decision before taking time out of my day to come in. Instead, it felt as though an undisclosed condition had suddenly been introduced after I had already arrived. I politely explained that I was not comfortable with that, especially considering this was only an examination and not a procedure involving anesthesia or treatment. What bothered me most was not the request itself, but the insistence. The more they pushed, the more anxious and uncomfortable I became. I am also highly skeptical of casually obtained blood pressure readings taken without proper preparation, positioning, rest, or consideration of the patient's current state. A number taken under stressful conditions can be misleading, especially when the patient has already expressed discomfort and anxiety. Before I sat down for the examination, my heart rate was a relaxed 75 BPM. After the discussion escalated and the pressure continued, my heart rate climbed to 125 BPM while I was still sitting in the chair. At that point, I was no longer mentally or physically comfortable proceeding. I politely informed the doctor that I did not wish to continue that day and left the appointment. Unfortunately, that was not the end of the experience. I later called the office simply to confirm that I would not be charged for a visit that never resulted in an examination and that I left feeling anxious and unwell. The receptionist answered and immediately became dismissive and belittling. She repeatedly stated: "You are not a good fit anyway." I asked her to clarify what she meant by "not a good fit" and whether that was her personal opinion. She replied: "No, I speak for the clinic. I don't think you're a good fit, and I believe it's because you don't trust the doctor." I explained that this had nothing to do with trust. My concern was that I was not comfortable proceeding with a blood pressure measurement under those circumstances and that I was no longer in the right state of mind to continue the appointment. Her response was: "I still think you're not a good fit. Anyway, I don't even think you want to come back." I replied that, in fact, now that I understood their process, I would be willing to come back on a day when I was rested, comfortable, and mentally prepared. I then asked a very direct question: "Let me make sure I understand. If I call to reschedule, are you saying the clinic will refuse to book me?" She paused and once again responded: "You're not a good fit." Notice that this was not an answer to the question. Instead of providing a simple yes-or-no response, she continued repeating the same judgmental phrase. I asked again: "Yes or no?" She said: "Let me ask the doctor, and I will surely call you back shortly. But I still think you're not a good fit and that you don't trust the doctor." At that point, I found the interaction remarkably unprofessional. A receptionist's role is not to repeatedly judge whether a patient is a "good fit." If the clinic had made a decision, then communicate it clearly and professionally. If the clinic had not made a decision, then say so. Repeating "you're not a good fit" over and over again while refusing to answer a direct question came across as dismissive, condescending, and unnecessarily antagonistic. Of course, I never heard back. What stood out most was the complete lack of empathy and professionalism. I was clearly having a difficult day. I had already left the office feeling anxious and physically uncomfortable. Rather than showing understanding, answering my questions directly, or attempting to de-escalate the situation, the receptionist repeatedly labeled me as "not a good fit" and appeared more interested in passing judgment than helping resolve the issue. I left without receiving an examination, without any meaningful resolution, without a return call as promised, and without even a shred of compassion from what is supposed to be a healthcare setting. The entire experience left me feeling blindsided, unwelcome, judged, and deeply disappointed.

He was performing multiple surgeries at the same time so kept leaving the room during the process, didn't pay much attention to my wife during the surgery, and didn't couldn't even stick around for a minute after the 5 minute surgery to answer any basic questions my wife had about the surgery, post surgery recovery process, or the fact that one of the two numbing injections he applied seemed to have been done incorrectly, leaving that half of my wife's face, sinuses, and eye extra numb (the injection applied to the other half was fine). He didn't even bother to stitch up the surgery site, even when my wife asked. Both before and after the surgery, he and one of his older nurses made my wife feel very uncomfortable and harassed for having PTSD and occasional panic attacks, and any time my wife tried to ask a question they treated her as a nuisance and discriminated against her for having mental health issues (the PTSD and panic attacks). The post surgery recovery has been very painful for my wife as they refused to write a pain medication prescription for more than 2 days worth of post surgery pain relief - that means we run out before the third day of recovery, which is supposed to be the most painful by far.
