Or should I say - what staff? There was no one there most of the time & some people who came after the usual check in time couldn't check in. Most staff contact was via the phone, with someone based elsewhere with no idea about local conditions (e.g. to leave garage the person on the line didn't know you should pull a chain in the garage & said to call for that). Then another time the garage entrance was blocked by someone & the person on the phone advised us to park elsewhere (which we had to pay for though we had already paid for the hotel) & returned later & didn't say if she would call for someone to tow the offending vehicle.

The room was very spacious and comfortable with modern decor and amenities. The staff was very nice and gave me an adapter since I wasn't carrying one. They also helped arrange for a taxi back to the airport the next day. This is something all hotels do but the fact that they proactively asked about it was very thoughtful on their part. I also got to try their dinner and breakfast buffet and I gotta say I was blown away. I usually don't have great expectations of a hotel chain's buffet meals, but this one had a very good spread. I got here after a very long day at the airport dealing with flight delays, cancellations and rebooking and really needed a good meal and a cozy place to crash for the night and this place didn't disappoint.

Our rooms were ready for us, so we were able to shower & change before exploring Frankfurt. You get a username & password for free wifi, but it expires every 72 hours, but they give you a new one. Continental breakfast was good, and staff learned our preferences: coffee for this one, green tea for that one, & was ready at the table for us when we returned with our food. This is embarrassing for me, but needs to be said because the staff went above & beyond. I drank some tap water & was ill for several hours. I went downstairs for hot tea. When I got to my room, the cleaning lady was there. Not feeling well or able to speak German, I pointed to the restroom. She let me go. When I came out, she pointed at my stomach, I nodded yes. She unfolded the covers of the bed, I got in & she covered me up, asked about tablets, I nodded yes, then she went & cleaned restroom & put out Do Not Disturb sign as she left. I was in a single room, family in another room, so although embarrassed, I was grateful for her help. She was professional and did these actions with no sign of irritation or judgement. Finally, hotel is close to train station. We unpacked once, hopped on a train each day to explore other cities, and relaxed in Frankfurt each evening.

If you book with breakfast included, you will enjoy a delicious repast with good coffee, all kinds of bread and pastries, scrambled eggs with sausage, crepes filled with cherries and vanilla custard sauce, pancakes, cold cuts of ham and cheese, juices, and these delightful little glass jars filled with yummy yogurt, fruit, muesli, milk rice, etc. I was not expecting anything this generous. It was just across from the main rail station in Frankfurt and you could enter the subway just a 1/2 block away and walk underground to the station itself, which was much appreciated in the cold, wet weather while we were there. Sometime she left earlier and there was nobody at the reception at evening people must go to Olive restaurants for asking keys if needed. It's not good system I think. The roof terrace was closed and I had no chance to go there at all, even they promised the door is open. The gym has only place for 2 people it is not like a real gym it's more like somebody's home gym. They should not call it as a gym. The Paragon apartments is very far from the centre of Frankfurt I came by taxi to Paragon and driver had no idea of the place. There was no rules at wash salon, there was every day same people washing their towels again again and again. Everyday and every night. There was renovation going and the lady at the reception wanted to give the room near the renovation room. They need a lot of more workers to the reception one is not enough and she didn't seem to like to work there.
