Instead of the years wait you hear it takes to get a disability, they got mine in 6 months and my…read moregirlfriend's in 5. Very friendly staff. My interview I was asked about other symptoms I hadn't thought of, but had. Years before, I tried to talk my girlfriend into filing and had gone to another firm. She was told to file on her own and when she lost to come back to them. Filing on your own is almost a guarantee to screw up your case. I've recommended them to several people. Some advice. Like many people I'd had years of problems. Before going to them, I wrote a letter to my doctor and reminded him of all the serious problems over the years, so he didn't have to read my thick file. That way when when Social Security contacted him, he could tell them everything. Then when I was given the appointment to see the disability determination doctor, I mailed him a copy of the letter I wrote to my doctor, so he could see my doctor's file and if he needed to could call my doctor. I think this really helped my case.

I give a -1!!! Going on two years and the only time they check the status is if I call or text…read more When the attorney handling my case retired I called to see who was taking over and I got was "uhhhh we don't know who is taking over his cases sorry" ARE YOU F***ING KIDDING ME? How is that professional? They knew he was retiring so someone with two brains cells to rub together would know that needs to addressed way before his final day. I did back when I was running a shop, it's not rocket surgery! So far I've had to sell everything that I worked for and all bills are WAY past due or defaulted and my utilities are either cut or about to be, do they care? Good lord no why would they? My home was on the verge of foreclosure so guess what? I had to sell it with no place to go. I'm about to be homeless do they care? Why would they? I can't afford my medications (which I severely need) or my therapy. Not sure why I hired an attorney if I knew it was going to be a waste of time and cause me more mental distress. Starting to think disability attorneys have a deal with the system. I have pointed out different emergency actions that can be a tried but nope "we don't want to push because you might get denied" so being homeless and broke means nothing to this firm! Having to "borrow" wifi just to use internet since they don't understand if my cell phone and internet is off how will they contact me?
