As one of the caves where Dr Lund recovered many megafauna skeletons this cave is well worth a visit. Access is via guides that leave at regular intervals throughout the day, at least during the weekends and holidays. The cave has some impressively large and tall and impressive rooms. The number of stalactites and stalagmites is not huge as is the number of other features. Nevertheless there's plenty to see, including some prehistoric rock paintings (one they'll point out; for others you need to keep your eyes open). There is also a small museum, a restaurant and souvenir shops. Payment for the cave (R$25) and restaurant only by cash. read more
