Me and my friends decided to go here on a weekday evening for a friend's birthday, I was surprised how empty it was on a Thursday evening! We started with the chips and salsa. The salsa fresh you could tell! Nonetheless, as a vegetarian I was happy to see a seperate veggie section - I ordered the veggie fajitas. I was surprised they didn't have multiple sizes when I asked like 1/4, 1/2, 1 lbs fajitas. I just assumed each restaurant offering fajitas did that. I ordered the regular veggie fajitas with vegetarians black beans with flour tortillas. They came in a timely manner- the veggies tasted a lot more Smokey than I expected, it came with black beans, pico, guac, cilantro rice. This is your average Mexican restaurants but with a good amount of veggie items! And for a place in the city, they have a good amount of parking !

Pretty good service. My kale Caesar was pretty bland. The chicken stuffed pepper was great. Not dry, flavorful. Would come back for that. Didn't have time for dessert tho.

Oh cha-cha-cha this place will have you doing your happy dance if you love delicious Tex-Mex, yeah sure we all like to believe we only love those authentic Mexico flavors from south of the border and I will admit I love them too maybe this and that equally but you probably won't find that here but what you will find is a great restaurant with exceptional service and food that will be amazing. I was looking to find something that would be delicious and memorable, well after walking through these doors and greeted by a wonderful and friendly staff it was only the beginning of an excellent dining experience. The Dos Equis lager drafts are ice cold and served in a salt rim glass with a fresh lime and quenches the Texas sun after a few sips, the complimentary chips and salsa are the perfect pairing, the chips are fresh thin and salty, the salsa is a complex blend of flavors and bottomless (so delicious). Juan our server was the epitome of efficiency, he was attentive and provided exceptional service and completely understands the art of customer service so if you're fortunate enough to land in his section be sure and take care of him like he takes care of your table. The food here is pretty special we ordered a variety of entrées and no one in our party was disappointed with the quality or quantity of food presented, from the giant burritos, beef fajitas, enchiladas, tamales and beef tacos with sides of rice and charro beam and all the condiments there was so much and it was so good. I can't say I was surprised but I was impressed. With all the Mexican dining options in the city this is one great choice I'd definitely do this one again...

We wanted to try a new place and had seen this place conveniently located off 59 and Kirby. The place is huge from the inside and very nicely put together. We were quickly greeted by our server after getting a table. She was friendly and brought chips and salsa almost immediately. We ordered their beef fajitas, which didn't take that long either. The food was good, nothing great. The meat was done just the way we wanted it but it lacked some flavor. I don't think I would come back here.

This used to be one of my faves, but with there being so many tex mex places, I'd try somewhere else. The queso was super thick even when I added salsa to it. I wasn't impressed with the quesadilla and I was upset about the cost of my drink. I purchased the large, but it was more ice than drink. Our server did a fine job and it felt like any Mexican restaurant.

This was a great find in the Houston Area...Close to Hotel ZAZA...Place is clean and has a very welcoming feel. Another exciting aspect is having the GD in for the fun. The service was outstanding as our drinks and chips stayed full...speaking of Chips they went great with the Queso, which was a white Queso...new to us, and delicious. Salsa had a great flavor....Wife went with the Tex-Mex Chiladas with double rice. Meat alone had a great flavor and made for a great bite....The GD went with the appetizer quesadilla, which was huge...said its one of the best she has had...and was shocked she could actually eat it all...I went with the guadalajara stack with and amazing cream sauce...along with some fantastic beans....and as with most joints we hit, rice is just usually rice...but this was something different and was loaded with flavor, light and fluffy...and my GD ate half of mine as well!

We visited around 5:00 PM on a Sunday and were pleasantly surprised to be seated immediately for a party of two without a reservation. The restaurant is huge, and despite being very busy, the service was efficient. We were seated in one of the back dining rooms and greeted with complimentary chips and salsa, both of which were delicious. The atmosphere was fantastic--packed with World Cup fans, with what felt like everyone wearing a soccer jersey. As fellow futebol fans, we loved the energy. Being from California, we're fortunate to have access to some excellent Mexican food, so we were a little hesitant about trying Tex-Mex. I ordered the chicken fajitas with flour tortillas and a passion fruit margarita. The chicken had a smoky flavor and a sauce that gave the dish a distinctly Texas-style twist. The flour tortillas were outstanding, and the refried beans and rice were just as enjoyable. The passion fruit margarita was also a standout and something I'd definitely order again. Overall, this was a great dining experience and a place I'd recommend for the atmosphere alone. The restaurant appears well-equipped to accommodate large groups, making it a great option for gatherings. Next time, I'd love to return with a bigger group and take advantage of one of their margarita pitchers!

For drinks, my husband and our friends tried some of the margaritas from their large and unique margaritas menu, as well as their hibiscus agua fresca. All of the drinks were very pretty and it seemed like everyone enjoyed them, too! We started with their chips and salsa trio, which we all really liked. The chips were on the thicker side, but were crispy and not stale or chewy at all. Each of the salsas were quite different, and two were served warm, which we really liked! For the price, I'd consider getting the chips and salsa as a non-negotiable, honestly. For entrees, we tried the enchilada rojas, chilaquiles verde w/ chicken and beef, birria barbacoa ramen, and huaraches. My husband felt like his ramen could have included more meat, but aside from that everyone really enjoyed what they ordered. The highlight was probably the desserts, though! We got a quatro leches and two ordered of their giant and amazing churros. Both were incredibly tasty and reason enough to return for another visit in the future!
