We ordered one of each taco and they were very sweet to cut the ones that could be cut in half for us already to share. We got the frijol taco, the birria taco, the tlacoyo, the fried chicken, the cauliflower, and the Flor de calabaza (zucchini flower). My favorites were the birria, frijol, and Flor de calabaza but especially the birria. Honestly they were all good except for the cauliflower which was just ok. It's the only one I wouldn't re order. They also brew their own kombucha so we got a good Jamaica/hibiscus kombucha. There's outdoor seating which is nice, and very friendly service. I met both the owners and they were great too.

We don't speak much spanish, the menu was all in spanish so there was alot of google translate use for ordering. We originally ordered a Mezcal, pumpkin blossom taco, and pork lechon taco. Just one of each to try and see. Just amazing. The blossom taco was perfectly crisp with what seemed to be a hollandaise sauce on top with some crispy salt. The pork was perfectly cooked melt in your mouth and had some amazing flavors. We ended up ordered two of everything on the menu food wise and it was all great. We also ordered a moscow mule. Everything was stellar and I hope to be back soon.

Big plus - they have English menu and the portions are extremely big and probably enough for two people to share. Each meal comes with the soup, rice or pasta, and the main course. The service is truly friendly and the two buss boys are exceptional. I've never seen anyone working so hard, but at the same time remain so friendly and enthusiastic as those guys. I will definitely recommend this place to anyone who is visiting. To be honest, I have not had the cold drinks, so I cannot comment on those only because I had bad experience in the past in Mexico in general NOT at this place specific. Just be careful, do not drink anything for which you cannot confirm the source of the water including vegetables like lettuce and tomatoes because they might of been washed with the regular tap water. Due to the lack of Spanish, I was unable to confirm what water they use for those purposes and therefore I can't comment on quality of those drinks and their salads. The Bistec taco(s) arrived. A huge plate of perfectly cooked bistec on a pile of tortillas. We could have stopped with this dish. It was enough for two. The Volcan con Queso arrived and it was beautiful. We couldn't resist and had to dig in...gooey deliciousness. And then oh my, the Alhaambre de Pollo arrived and is bigger than the Bistec Taco serving. We did our best as it also was wonderful. And thanks goodness Louis, our server knew better and stopped the order for the Al Pastor Taco. Highly recommend. Service was great. Food was great. Little restaurants has a hand full to tables and the prices were reasonable. Will return on our next trip.

We purchased an apartment previously owned by the proprietors of this restaurant and were shocked by the condition in which both the apartment and shared building spaces were left. The property was handed over with trash, abandoned furniture, and unsanitary conditions requiring extensive cleaning and disposal. In addition, the owners requested that our electrician remove lighting fixtures they had installed -- and then failed to pay him for his work. Multiple obligations connected to the property transfer were simply left unresolved. Based on our direct experience, there appears to be a pattern of disregarding shared spaces, basic cleanliness, and financial responsibility. Hospitality begins with respect for others and accountability for one's actions. Unfortunately, our experience with the ownership demonstrated the opposite. We hope future customers and business partners have a better experience than we did.

However the Al Pastor taco was delicious! I would rate those an 8.5 out of 10. If I'm in the area, I would probably only pick up the Al pastor tacos and TO GO. I would gladly avoid being served by ignorant waitresses there. I would advise you all too. :)
