I have been in real estate for over 25 years and this could be the worst lender I've ever observed as part of a real estate sale. I was the seller of a residence and they dragged the buyer through ridiculous hoops. It dragged my sales contract out for 7 months and in the end they declined the buyer's mortgage application. There was a complete lack of professionalism, transparency, respect and communication. When the seller and buyer asked for status updates, Guaranteed Rate simply wouldn't respond to emails. return phone calls or texts. They chose to string everyone along, I suspect to continue collecting fees from their potential customer. I don't know how this company is in business and when I'm asked who the worst mortgage lender is, they come to mind first. read more
