Even from our initial phone conversation, David was very easy to talk to and super helpful to email me an itemized list of documents to organize my planning at the moment we spoke. As you can imagine having this info to start really provided me with the solid direction on where to start as the next of kin, amongst a family of 6 siblings and a host of secondary family members, for what was already a very sensitive emotional and financial situation. I think that it would also be helpful to know that David was kind enough to work with my limited schedule during my hometown visit, to provide a in-person consultation appointment with my family and I. During our appointment, the Brannon & Associates Staff was very kind, understanding as well as culturally competent, honoring our diversity as a young African-American family. David spoke in simple terms that we could all understand and also had a paralegal named Patty there to help gather info on our case. This immediately made us feel like we were being seriously and being placed as his priority at the moment. Together as a Team we sat together in collaboration and spoke openly about the facts of what would be my family's Estate case, including the discussion of such tough subjects as property values, debt and the creditor claims of my deceased Father. He was honest, straightforward and witty, even mentioning that he and I both shared the commonality of both having a Twin. By this time, it became very evident to me, that David was not only very experienced but is also competent enough to systematic apply his years of legal skill, in order to assess our case properly. Further to that note, we even received a follow-up email with the notes to recap our conversation as well as action steps moving forward, after our consult. Our names were even spelled correctly in the email, which truly speaks to the efficiency of an Au'some staff! As if we weren't sold enough, on top of all of that...the vibe was high and light, in the Brannon office as we were all even able to share a quick laugh to lift our spirits during such a sad time. To sum it all up, the combination of the the ease and empathy we felt in the office of Brannon & Associates was absolutely empowering, bringing about fond nostalgic memories of the goodness of the community where I grew up.
