There are very unique items here. I liked how they had a decent kids area as well with creative children's books like Frank Lloyd Wright designs for kids which teaches kids shapes. Even the store let's you feel the design of the building which is very cool as you look up. The prices are a little high for most things, but it is fun even just to walk around and browse.

They have been in business for more than eleven years and have weathered the highs and lows of retail in NYC. They sell a variety of gifts, household items, toiletries, and art. Fantastic selection of candles and natural soaps. Striking photos and art pieces from local creators. This is the place to get a special item for someone you love who loves Harlem and NYC. The shop smells lovely and is beautifully curated. They rotate their inventory regularly so there is always something new. Please support them! You will not be disappointed.

The owners are really cool and carefully curate their offerings. NiLu is one of the few places I venture out to visit alone because I enjoy taking my time checking out the products. They offer artworks, beautiful coffee table books, premium Harlem candles, puzzles, journals, board games, fragrances, greeting cards, and so much more that celebrate the culture. Stock is limited by design so if you find something you want, purchase immediately!!! I want the Harlem version of Monopoly but they're sold out every time I pop in. Service is always on point too.i encourage you to check them out. I often go in looking for gifts for others but leave with items for myself.

They have all types of gummy style candies with a large varieties sold by the pound. From chocolates, to sweet & sours, candy bars, assorted flavored soft and hard candies. Scoop as much as you want into a bag but be aware that it can get pricey. Everything looks delish and the store is very clean. The staff here is nice and helpful Quality stuff and much better than that which you find in drug stores and supermarkets.

Life has been a little crazy lately. So, I gave in and placed a delivery order from the Upper Eastside store. I chose the Autumn mix because well, it is fall! The packaging was very cute and was a nice presentation. I also thought the thank you note added a lovely touch. Now, let's get down to the candy! One candy that I see in video reviews (not sure other their name, but they look like skulls) where not in my order. That was a bit of a disappointment. I figure once I go in person, I will try them. I had a really nice mix of both sour and sweet candies. I really enjoyed them. I received some of those soft candies and they were good but, not amazing. I am not a fan of black licorice. There were several types in my bag. That was the major negative about not being able to choose the candy myself. The quantity of candy was larger than I expected.. A yummy experience. I look forward to going to the store and choosing an experiencing with the entire selection.
