Little was done to help them, the manager only offered that he was "embarrassed". Completely unacceptable. What was supposed to be an exciting day ended up being a very upsetting day with no support/resolution from the Manager and staff. You can tell this establishment does not care about their customers. They had slippers marked down to $5. I went back the next day and bought slippers in different sizes for gifts. I mentioned I misplaced my wallet. I wear a wide width shoe and made a point to remind our cashier of that when the left shoe was asked for at checkout. (They leave only the right shoe for try on due to theft. Which I understand completely) About two days later since I was home that day with not a lot to do I decide I needed to break in my shoes. Once I put them on I knew something wasn't right. I took them off and then realized I had a right shoe in a wide width and a left shoe in a regular width. Within a few days I went back to return them, but instead of walking out with two pair, I left with one. They were out of the other pair of shoes. Which basically means someone else now owns a pair of shoes of different widths. This store is located in a mall. Being at the mall during back to school days is a major pain. We needed a pediatric transport chair unexpectedly after our young daughter had surgery on her…read morelegs. Finding the right-sized equipment in Tyler was very difficult. We checked with everyone. There were many friendly and helpful people we spoke with at various local companies, but almost no one had the equipment available. Healthline did. However, their staff was neither friendly nor helpful. If we had waited for Healthline, the need for the equipment would've passed before we got the equipment. Healthline makes you go through insurance despite the fact that we were trying to do a relatively inexpensive equipment rental. That's frustrating, but it's their business model. OK. However, we had to speak with someone with Healthline not local to Tyler. It was then revealed that days after the doctor's prescription had been received by Healthline, they had still not submitted the prescription order to insurance despite the "Expedite" notation on the order. Apparently, rather than filing the claim, Healthline employees elected to make notes to the account disparaging us, their client. This was revealed in our conversations with Audrey at Healthline. Further, Audrey consistently gave conflicting stories to us and the nurse at the doctor's office. For example, Audrey told the nurse that the hold up on the equipment rental was that Healthline was waiting on insurance approval. When I spoke with Audrey for clarification before calling the insurance carrier, Audrey let me know Healthline hadn't even submitted the claim to insurance yet. That's just one example. Why use this company when better options are available. We recommend Brickstreet Pharmacy, Access 2 Mobility, and CPS Medical.

Yesterday, while treating my daughter and her friend to a day at the mall, while both were enjoying their cotton candy treats a kind young man stopped by. He said it was his 19th birthday--and that every year, he gifts kids a Build-A-Bear in memory of his own childhood experience. He asked if he could buy the girls their own bears as his birthday gift. They screamed with joy! I was speechless, overwhelmed by his generosity and the beauty of the moment.
