You take off your shoes and then there's squishy mats and books everywhere! Four of us met and sat with our babies and hung out and chatted while our babies played with each other and the other babies in the library. It seems like a great place to meet with parent friends and their babies or even meet other parents. No cost at all, no membership or anything, you just walk in, walk towards the back and sit down with your little one!

Not only that, but the plaza is definitely a great place to stand on a clear day to take in the view of downtown. The main attraction of the plaza is the large fountain of Poseidon, which is certain to stick out in the mind of any visitor. It's pretty much the perfect meeting point, except for any day when there's a festival, in which case, the place is bound to be overflowing with people.

After a quick visit to the Bohus Fästning (Fortress) our dog and us really needed a walk. And…read morethere's a nice little walk around the Fortress. You can either start south of the Fortress, just by the Bohusbron Bridge (there's a parking lot, 4 hours free) or north of the Fortress at the Ställplats - Husbil Camping and Parking lot (fees apply). The walk along the water and around the Fortress is quite short, but very nice. Sheep roam around free here, so please be respectful of their territory. Dogs are allowed though. There's a bunch of benches with nice views and some water access in case your furry friend needs a quick dip (ours did). If you are visiting the Fortress, be sure not to miss out on this little walk.
