They were thorough and they listened to what I needed as this was a double move, meaning half the items to storage and the rest to the new place and many other little necessary details that I needed, for example certain items in storage needed to be in front for easy access etc. I have moved MANY times while living in Southern California (and even there the movers were always at least 2 hours late) and have had either ok or bad service from movers, but these Rockstars here in the Valley worked like a well oiled machine and got it done! Also, even though I was leery at the price, it actually turned out less than what I expected with the double move. These guys worked fast! The company eventually called me to say they found coverage and would eventually arrive almost an hour later than scheduled. My appointment was for 9AM and this business is a ~5 minute drive from my residence, according to Google Maps. Moving is stressful enough. There are deadlines that have to be met involving multiple companies and people. For instance, the U-Haul truck I rented for this move had to be returned in another city by a certain time. My family who volunteered to transport my car needed to be back in time to rest for their jobs. Showing up on time is part of being a professional. Or at least that's what I was taught. I decided to ask the movers to leave after the 1 hour minimum, even though we had more boxes to transport. They failed to follow directions and even took apart my table without asking. It just wasn't worth the trouble. When it was time to pay, I was initially billed for the wrong time. I'm not sure if the man was trying to rip me off by playing stupid, but from start to finish, it left a bad taste in my mouth. It would be like me showing up to work late, then asking my boss for a raise for the work I didn't do. If you need moving help in the Valley, I strongly recommend Rockstar Moving.
