Warning !!! I had a vinyl fence installed from this company The fence has slots that line up , each individual one can come out . When we have windy days the slots will blow out/off My neighbor behind me has dogs as well as I have a English bullldog weighing 55 pounds when my dog jumps on the fence (because he heard my neighbors dogs outside) the slots would come out and my dog could walk right into my neighbors yard , I called the rep several times and he said he was waiting for the owner to get back w him. The owner finally called me back and said the fence wasnt made to handle a 150 pound dog jumping on it . Well my dog is 55 pounds Sir Am I the only person who's dogs will jump on the fence when they hear or see someone?? The Owner was extremely rude to me , he said he could add bars in the middle of the fence and charge me for it , also he mentioned how unattractive it would look !!! Our conversation wasn't getting anywhere and he hung up on me !!! He knew I had a dog and my neighbors have dogs as well His company cut down my Home Depot fence on each side of my yard , well guess what I have zero issues w that fence You can lean /push against it and it's rock solid If I push against their fence he installed the slats would fall out !!!! The fence they installed is only in the back not on the sides of my house Well after getting no help from the owner to resolve this and now my neighbor and I are not speaking because he has to keep putting the slats back up because they fall into his yard This has honestly been a nightmare !!! The cost of this fence installed was $2,642 Just for the back yard only I since than had to pay to put chainlink gates and a iron gate to avoid any more issue/mishaps of my dog getting into my neighbors yard Chainlink gates and iron gates were $854 plus labor Looks horrendous But it's safe now Thank Jesus my neighbors dogs and mine are friendly Otherwise this could have been a disaster that could have caused injuries or death to a animal, if there were aggressive dogs involved Btw they have 2 very Large dogs that if they were aggressive again could have turned this into a very different story !!! This is the most childish and unprofessional company I have ever encountered from top to bottom. They came on to my property to tear down my fence so they could put up their fence without the decency of asking, then went out of their way to move the existing fence line even thought they were told not to, leaving a huge gap and removing my property without permission. When I asked them why they removed my property and asked them to put it back they threatened me physically and became very vulgar. The owner was even more rude than the employees. 0/10 read more

I had 3 estimates for a white PVC privacy fence 6'x6' tall. They came at $600 lower than the previous two. Same wait time than the others. The two young men putting it all together were very knowledgeable and worked fast. I offered them to take a break and go have lunch at the diner nearby. They responded that there was no time for lunch and had to go to another job after mine. I LOVE, LOVE my fence and can now sit in my yard without having to put up with the neighbors junkyard. read more

My neighbors installed a fence and we had this company remove our fence adjacent to it. I asked them to leave a small portion of our fence with a gate...they sawed the gate off at the hinges first thing. I understood the confusion and they tried to make good on their mistake, but did a bad job and the gate literally fell off about 4 weeks later. I asked them to repair it and they said I am in the queue. After a month of waiting and no communication, I repaired it myself. read more

I had a great experience with Gulf to Bay Fence, Mike Wiley and team. They did a very nice job installing a new white vinyl PVC fence for my home in St Pete. I received fence quotes for 4 separate companies and while theirs was not the cheapest, I liked their terms best - 0% down, no deposit required, pay upon completion. That way, they work for your money! The installers were very knowledgeable, left no mess to clean up and did an excellent job building the fence around my neighbors Banyan Tree that jutted into my yard. We just had our fence installed by Gulf to Bay fence and what a spectacular job they did. From the beginning when Mike Wiley came out and gave my wife and I an estimate, to the installation crew of Robert and Mike (a different Mike) we dealt with a professional company that put up a quality product. And they did this fantastic job in just two days! One of our neighbors was so impressed that she came over requesting their information. She, unfortunately, has been fighting with the company she hired for over 3 months and still does not have her fence completed. If your looking to have a fence installed in the Pinellas County area, this is the company to use. You will get a high quality fence at a fair price. They did install a beautiful white vinyl fence onto the property I am renting. My HOA approved the fence. Gulf to Bay fencing put the fence up. But did not pull a permit. The HOA ask to see the permit. They did not pull the permit. Now they refuse to rectify the situation. Now the Better Business Bureau is involved to Consumers board is involved and the city is involved in this case . But they still refuse to rectify the situation. I highly recommend you do not go with Gulf to Bay fencing. read more

We purchased our fence from Gulf To Bay Fence in June of 2016 and it was a fair price and they did a good job overall mostly. Fast forward 15 months and add Hurricane Irma and we found damage to one gate. The rest of the fence was okay. I called them up to get a quote for repairing the gate. Their message said they were very busy due to the Hurricane and it would take up to 5 days to receive a reply. I left a message explaining we had minor damage to our south gate and could they please give me an estimate for repair when they were not so busy.They called me back in one hour and told me to send a picture of the gate and then later told me it would be $250.00 minimum for the repair. I explained to them that it was only one corner panel where the hinge mounts and did not look so serious.They messaged me again and told me they could build a new gate at their shop and I could pick it up and install it myself for $150.00. Bottom line I said no thanks and repaired the gate with the help of my wife in about one hour and 0 cost. My problem is we purchased our entire fence and two gates from this company last summer and where is the customer service? They should have told me we will have someone stop by when we are not so busy and give you a fair and reasonable estimate.II never heard of a $250.00 minimum from a fence company.The gate is now fully functional however we may have to replace the one panel at some point.We will not do business with them again.
