Food-wise the prices were pretty decent (from an American perspective). I ended up trying the moose burger and it was well worth a try. The actual meat is slightly gamey--not as satisfying as a beef patty, but the mix of the cranberry jam (or some sort of berry jam?) they put on the burger actually mixed very well with the overall dish. Last night (Tuesday 29 May) both servers completely ignored me from the time I walked in until I left. I waited 20 minutes before finally asking one of the two servers if I could place a drink order. They walked past me several times without even making eye contact. I had to ask for a menu. Staying safe I ordered a burger and fries which were mediocre. No one came by to ask if the meal was satisfactory. In fact I didn't talked to the server again for approx 1 hour. I had to get their attention to remove the dishes. I was sitting at a high top table only 10 feet from and facing the bar! No offer of a second beer until after 45 minutes of waiting I finally flagged the bar tender to bring the bill. Outrageous. The atmosphere falls well below the standard for a pub. There was American football paraphernalia in a few spots - in an Irish bar! How about real football??!! Don't waste your time on this place.
