Never a bad meal! Been going here for 20 years. Shrimp with black bean sauce is one of the many delicious items on the menu! Wish they delivered and took credit cards, but it's not that big of a deal to carry a $20 on you. Just moved to the area and while unpacking decided to test this local spot out. What a mistake. Initially the basic chicken and broccoli was tasty in its ample portion; so was my other half's GTC. But a third of the way into eating the meal, I found hair...yuck. I showed my boyfriend who had picked up the order and he said he was bothered by the fact that the cook wasn't wearing any head gear as he watched him preparing the food. This is not just the worst Chinese food i have ever eaten, it may well be the worst food of ANY kind I have been served. Everything smelled rancid and tasted burned. The chicken wings had feathers, thanks a lot. I have never done this before but after $60 and a couple of bites i threw everything out. This was truly disgusting. Ordered their General Tso's chicken combo dinner with pork fried rice, hot and sour soup and steamed dumplings. Speed of service was ok... probably quicker than it seemed since I didn't call ahead but waited for it. General Tso's chicken was HORRIBLE to say the least. How does a chinese restaurant screw up General Tso's chicken, one of the most ordered dish?? There was not a hint of spice at all which is what it should be made with, spicy red chili peppers. There was also very little chicken as all you tasted was fried dough. I'm giving it two stars bc the fried rice was actually decent. new to the area. walked in. they do not greet you. didn't get a good vibe but gave her my order. when it was ready I gave her my card. that is when she informs me crudely they only take cash. "I dont have cash on me, why don't you have a sign up to inform customers from the get go," I tell her. "atm next door!atm next door!", she says. as if I will incur a fee to purchase her food. walked out with no food. feel as if I was saved from a bad food experience, anyway.
