They hit into us on a packed course at least five times. All because she had to work at a specific time. And we were on a packed course. Her friend she was with almost hit my wife in the head with no warning. Vocally. It took them the fith time after I caught the last ball the hit on the bounce to approach us and apologize. It wasn't even your employee it was there playing companions. Pretty sad that's what this course represents on a nice day and it's packed. Player safety isn't even a concern especially , by someone who works there.

The greens are phenomenal -- smooth, consistent, and running about a 14.5 on the stimp the day I played. The entire course is lush and green, with an interesting layout that keeps you engaged from the first tee to the 18th green. Pace of play was spot on, and the value is outstanding. My round cost $50 walking or $74.99 with a cart -- easily one of the best deals for a course of this quality in the Lower Lansing / St. Johns area. Service was just as impressive. The cart girl came by at least seven times during my round, always friendly, helpful, and accommodating. The staff clearly knows how to run a golf course right. We don't have to drive far to get that 'up north feeling' on any of the courses around us including The Emerald Golf Course. I'm excited to have played this course a couple weeks ago and we're heading back today for another round. If for some reason, our experience isn't as great as it was last time, I'll update my review but I don't think there's any reason to expect anything different than our last visit in terms of amazing experiences. People were very friendly at this course and the course maintenance was excellent given that it's not an exorbinantly expensive place to play. Doesn't even deserve a star…read more Our experience at this business was completely unacceptable. My little brother arrived at the golf course and was told to leave the property. When we called to speak with a manager about this disturbing incident, the person who answered the phone was rude, offensive, and even cursed at us. This kind of disrespectful behavior has no place in any business -- especially one that serves the public. We expected professionalism and basic courtesy, but instead we witnessed behavior that was both offensive and deeply concerning. I hope the ownership takes responsibility for this incident and ensures that no one else is treated this way again. Update 11/18/25: I have left two voicemails but they have yet to return my call. They are now getting Google reviews deleted. We wrote on Facebook as well and they responded with gaslight lies then blocked us. All I am asking for is for the owner, Allen to speak with me.
