I'm very disappointed with mostly the communication and miscommunication of the whole ordeal. I don't enjoy leaving negative reviews but the ending warranted it. I had bought my wife her first gun, not from this store but I get ammo from them and they said they could Cerakote her gun since she wanted the pink version of the Glock 42 but wasn't able to find due to the holidays. I had gone over in detail how she wanted it and the receipt details that conversation. Flat pink lower, pink with sparkle for the upper and keep all the black accents. She was also adding the Crimson green laser to it once the coating was done. They sub contract their work out to a company for the coatings. I was told that they were slow and it should be 3-4 weeks. After 4 weeks I call and they said they would check and call me back. I did not hear from them so 2 days later, I call again and someone else answers and was rude by saying " first of all that can't be because it takes 6 weeks, I don't know who told you that" his demeanor was that of being bothered by my question. Again, I was told that they would call but 6 weeks later nothing. So I called again and they said they would look and get back to me but nothing again. I waited 3 days but no call. I finally went into the store and spoke with someone behind the counter. I'm leaving names out of the equation because by this time I'm pretty sure I've spoken to everyone there. This person said there was an issue with the coating company and the boss was going there directly to pick up the orders and I would get a call that afternoon or the next day. I waited 3 days and called since no one called me once again. I called and spoke to, I believe the owner who expressed his apologies and gave me his personal cell phone number. A couple days later I get notification from him that it had arrived. We are going into 8 weeks now. When I arrived at the store and looked at the gun, it seemed to be fine but they didn't have the laser because the one that came in was defective and didn't let me know until I got in the store to pick up my order, hence, no phone call. Once got outside in the daylight I could see that they actually sparkled the lower as well which was not on the order. I went back inside with the receipt which details the order and asked him what's wrong with the gun. Once he looked it over he was apologetic and said they could have it redone. I said I would ask my wife and she said absolutely not due to the extent of time and lack of communication. So I took the gun home and they said the laser may come in that day, It did and I asked will there be any discount due to the whole ordeal and the cost they would have to endure to have the lower re coated. I received the laser at cost which in my opinion was just a slap in the face. The savings was around 70$ and mind you the coating was $400+ for the complete gun. I've owned many businesses and in my opinion that is not how you salvage a customer or relationship. Hopefully they will re group and work on their business model. I have changed my review due to the owner which wasn't present during this time due to a new edition to his family. He credited the whole job and was very apologetic. I appreciate it and look forward to thanking him personally once he returns. Thank you again. read more

An excellent experience. Stopped by yesterday (1/8/2025) as I am looking for a .380. Had narrowed it down to a Ruger LCP Max or the S/W Bodyguard 2.0. Wanted to put my hands on both before making a decision. After visiting 3 other local stores nobody had the Bodyguard in stock and only one had the LCP Max. Guns for less had both and in fact had the Bodyguard with and without the safety. Josh (the owner) was great, no pressure and very knowledgeable. Gave me a fair price on a gun I was trading. I returned today, Josh was out, I worked with Billy. (Great guy!) I felt VERY comfortable shopping there. Some other stores employees either ignore you, don't know enough or make you feel like they are doing you a favor being there. NOT the case here, I highly recommend Guns 4 Less on DelPrado. ( I collect ) I had no issues at first and during the first few years, I would rate them a lot better but they have lost my support and patronage since I had a slight issue with one of the staff. More than the issue with the staff member, I purchased a new release firearm there where I was overcharged by $200. I have always trusted this location and when they gave me a price, I trusted that this was the an honest price, It was far from that.. All it takes is that you screw me once and you have lost my business forever. Let me first start by saying this review is based on the actions of an employee and how I was treated by him. I attended a shoot straight gun show on the 4th of this month where I impulsively bought a glock 26. About a week later after the screening went through I called to ask if it was possible to cancel the purchase since I had not yet picked the gun up. The guy on the phone was nice and said " yeah sure! All you need to do is come in and we'll charge you a 5% restocking fee". So a few days later when I had time off from work I made the hour + trip from Naples. I got there at about 10:02 (they open at 10:00) I waited outside for the doors to be unlocked. A short little bald man came to the door and let us in. He didn't say a word at first although I stood at the register clearly needing help. He took a couple minutes to set up some guns on display and finally came over. I said to him "hey how's it going" to which he replied "to early to tell". I explained to him my conversation I had on the phone about canceling the purchase and he said he needed to contact the owner. He asked who I spoke to and I wasn't sure of the name but I had a hunch it was the younger employee who was also present. So I waited around for about 10 minutes until he came up to me in the most confrontational way possible and says word for word "don't think you can come in here and bullshit me, no one in this store told you 5%, I'm not stupid". At that point he said " you can either take the gun and leave or pay a 20% restocking fee". I'm not going to lie I was pretty pissed at this point. Thank god the owner did text him at this point and said 5% was fine. It really sucks that I have to give a negative e review because when I met the owner at the gun show she did seem very nice & the shop is awesome inside. BUT it's not okay for employee to talk to customers like this. If that was my business I would fire that little fat bald guy in a second, I can't imagine how many people he's driven away with his attitude. read more

We walked into Guns4Less a few months ago and purchased a 9mm and a semiautomatic shotgun. The environment was friendly, down to earth, and knowledgeable. We signed up to take the concealed weapons class with Benjamin, and he's fantastic. He has such a natural ability to teach. I am a noob with guns, with a healthy fear, so naturally I wanted to get past that fear and also learn how to use one safely, and maintain it in great condition. There's no one I would of went to other than Benjamin. Today we went out to the private range (beautiful drive, beautiful property, awesome time!) and I was so nervous the first time shooting I made the mag drop out of gun . A simple suggestion is all it took and I actually have a pretty good shot for a noob! I can't wait to go back with my boyfriend and shoot some more shit! Just bought new handgun from them and took mandatory FL CCW training course from them. - very nice and knowledgeable folks - CCW course given by John Johnson is excellent and maybe the least expensive in Cape/Ft Myers area. He details EVERYTHING you need to do to get CCW, including addresses and phone numbers. - prices on handguns, while not the very lowest compared to some web offerings are VERY competitive and the lowest I found in the local market. Only downside is that they don't have a local indoor range but don't let that deter you. You can use other indoor ranges or the public outdoor range at Tuckers Grade. read more

I should have researched before I made the purchase because I was charged over $200 for 200 rounds. I know ammo is hard to find but its looking a lot like I was price gouged and that isn't acceptable. Husband went here a few months ago, he decided to buy a Beretta pico which he put in a layaway. Yes you read right a layaway program for guns, he took out his Pico una few weeks. After that he has being insisting for me to get the concealed weapon class; I went recently and took the class. John the instructor was very good, he explained everything using real day to day examples. He even used examples with situations that recently happened here in the Ft. Myers area. While being in the class they had promotions of different clases. They have a try before you buy class, which I thought it was very reasonable for 2.5 hours they take you to their private shorting range in Punta Gorda with different arms with amo and you have the chance to try them before you decide to purchase one, because I already had a couple and my husband does too. We decided to do another class, a private lesson with your instructor and your arms. It was an amazing experience that I would recommend to anybody. Having that chance of a one on one with an instructor is great. John was our instructor and he is amazing, he explains very good and shows you not only how to use your arm also how to be safe. Safety is the key!! They have also the availability to rent you the private shorting range for half a day for you to practice with a instructor there. We are planning to do that next, is $225 for half a day, but between 5 people is worth every penny. read more

I purchased a pistol that was listed on armslist by Guns4less. The add said it was "like new". I called and spoke with Brent, he said there was "not a mark on it" and "I question if it has ever been shot". I decided to buy the gun thinking it was going to be like new, but without a factory warranty. It was shipped to my ffl with no signature required so he was surprised when he saw it when he got to the shop. When he opened it ALL of my credit card info was on a sticky note inside the box. Someone could have easily walked off with this box. My ffl said he had not seen a gun shipped like this before. The gun was obviously used and cleaned with abrasives. The grip screws are damaged from being removed with the wrong tool. (Not sure yet if springs were swapped out or just grips) I called and told them that it was not in the condition they said it was. He said "did you expect a new gun". He did offer to take it back, but minus shipping and my transfer fee so I would be out about $70 because they lied. I'm not sure yet if I'm going to keep it. I was planning on using it as a ccw, but I will need it gone through to make sure the springs are not aftermarket and test it for reliability. In my opinion the employees are either ignorant or dishonest. read more
