Uppon arriving, the staff was very nice, greeted you and immediately asked to take our order. I went in for a tuna melt, and my boyfriend asked for the BBQ pulled pork sandwich. Tuna melt wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best. I ordered pasta, and they forgot to add in our bag, and with 90dg weather, they can keep it. The pork sandwich is a 4/5, really good, soft, and well seasoned.

I ordered a steak sandwich and fries. It was pretty good, the fries were great, but the steak was a too overcooked. I know it was busy so I understand. I'll try this place again and update the review. I'd say try it out though!

You order up front they bring you your food. Steak sandwich, grilled chicken sandwich, pastrami sandwich, tri-tip sandwich, bacon cheeseburger all highly recommend. All come w fries except the grilled chicken sandwich. Can't go wrong w any of those. To be honest i dont think I ever tried the bbq ribs or chicken. It's always been one of the sandwiches listed above or a bacon cheeseburger (you can taste the freshness of their burger patties). You can sit inside or outside in the patio. Great spot to come enjoy a sandwich and an ice cold beer. Gus and family will greet and help you with a smile.

He finally took me today and I had to try the pulled pork sandwich. So I did so and I must say this was a pretty dang good sandwich. The bread wasn't hard at all it was soft the meat was good and the sandwich was stuffed just right. The bbq sauce on the sandwich wasn't too sweet or too tangy it was a perfect combo. The ambiance of this place is super cute and clean definitely an old school butcher shop vibe I thought it was the perfect little spot for a simple bbq. They do have meats you can try there. The service was fast and the staff was friendly. I would most definitely go back to try something else

I didn't have the experience I expected to have with Gus'. It came so highly reviewed online and by friends so maybe I came on an off day. But the food seemed very "regular" and I missed out on the hype of the big portions and "worth the price" flavors. There were many menu options and kind service but I wish I could say more about the food. I got the Submarine and really expected much more reading the description. The quality was very much like the sandwiches that you can get in the fridge in the lunch room. I would like to go back for a more "meatier" sandwich but I'm worried for a back to back bad experience. I'll give it another try and hope for redemption read more

Visited Gus's Deli and BBQ many times ! The steak Sandwich is off the chart good! The French Fries were also better than most. Also ordered a fresh Dill pickle that we had quartered and I'll for sure get another next time I visit! The submarine sandwich was the most disgusting sandwich I've ever had. The slices of meat were not deli, they were store bought from Food4Less it appeared. Low quality meat, low quality bread. I didn't even finish the sandwich, I threw it away , wasting $20. Never again will I go to this establishment. Do not order the Submarine. It tanked! 0 stars if I could. read more

Came here yesterday when they had the car show Costumer service is really bad the girl at the front counter is rude she isn't friendly at all Food was cold when we finally got it we had to go up to the counter after the first 40 minutes to ask for our drinks she was a bit annoyed wanted us to wait for the food I guess lol but yea won't eat here ever again read more

I stopped by here because I was starving and it was the closest thing to my church. I wasn't expecting much because the reviews are not great but I was extremely impressed! I ordered the Philly Steak sandwich and it was amazing! The bread was so fresh and soft. The meat and sauce was so flavorful. The fries were a perfect consistency and great seasoning! Came here, food is just ok. Came here for a steak sandwich, the price is on the expensive side. They advertise the meal with a side of pickles. Turns out they ran out, and they didn't offer to substitute neither. So if you ask me if I'll ever come back, unfortunately no. Good luck, you may have a better experience than I did. read more

This is part food joint part local butcher. In the same room that you can order a 2 Lbs. roast you can order BBQ food and some non-BBQ food. Heads up they have More sandwiches than anything. When you walk up to order food the first thing you might notice is that the food is in a warming box similar to walking up to the deli at your local market. They have the chicken, ribs, meatloaf, and a few other items for you to see. Once you order they bring your food to you. For the food being done it took a while. It's all on paper plates and plastic utensils. And the biggest thing is the food was just meh. It wasn't bad but it wasn't good. The food was fair, but way WAY overpriced. We had a roast beef sandwich, (which came with no fries or drink) and a pulled bbq chicken sandwich. The total was $29.85. The shop is clean, but there is also a meat counter. I'm not a vegetarian, but it was still a little unnerving. To be eating and having a cow's skull in the case looking right at you! Gross! The pulled pork sandwich might be ok for people who have no idea what a good pulled pork sandwich should taste or look like. It is absolutely drenched in what tastes like store bought bbq sauce. The fries are technically fries, but not really worth eating for any logical reason. Being VERY generous with 3 stars. read more

I've been here a few times before, mainly for the sides, but after this experience I honestly don't know if I'll return. I ordered a lunch chicken plate and was never told it would take over 40 minutes. Had I known, I either wouldn't have ordered or would have asked for a refund much sooner. Meanwhile, customer after customer who ordered after me received their food before I did. When I finally got my order, there was no apology or acknowledgment of the delay. I asked if there was anything they could do for the inconvenience, and the only thing offered was a free slushy. I don't even drink soda. A side dish or something more thoughtful would have made more sense. To make matters worse, when I got home, the chicken portion was very small and the two sides were tiny about the size of dressing cups. It's disappointing because I actually do like their flavors, but good food only goes so far when the customer service experience is this poor.

I informed the cashier of our change in plans, and she acknowledged it. Once we were seated, we asked for utensils and plates for two. After three different staff members came out, the third one finally told us that they couldn't provide any utensils, plates, or napkins for us to eat our food. This policy is absolutely ridiculous--especially considering we had already purchased the food from them! I should not have to beg for something so basic! And just to add, the place was empty. We came to support a small business, but we will definitely not be returning.

There was no one in there but one other guy taking photos with a ring light and making it look better than it tasted. All smoke and mirrors if you ask me. The service was good but then again, no one else was there. They could have given us more than one napkin though.

They both came with a heaping load of fries. He said his Burger was juicy and my cod fillets were fried perfect. I personally didn't like the coleslaw, but everyone makes it differently. Our main meals were great and so was the service. We also decided to order chicken wings as an appetizer. The wings were just ordinary and nothing to really write about. Probably wouldn't order again. Also need to tell them light ice on your fountain drinks or you will have a cup full of ice, although you do get refills.

They have one of the best steak sandwiches around. Can get busy and may take awhile to get your food but its worth the wait. Awesome Deli/ Butcher Shop. It can be pricey to eat here but no more so than any other place like it. I watched the customers coming and going and I can't say there was any other first time visitors like me. First time to Gus. The dinner was plentiful. The sauce is good. Not 2 sweet 4 me saucy. The cole slaw , macorni salad was good. I & my partner said the beans are 2 sweet and salty. Liked the pastrami burger. Fries were good. I thought the macaroni salad was to sweet for my taste, but others might like it. Will go again. read more

Thank you to Gus's for serving some pretty amazing food. Atmosphere was great the people are wonderful the food tasted good and fresh. I liked the steaks, chicken, burgers, rice and different meats.
